Ankit pov

All the questions asked by priyanka and dadi were revolving in my mind,it was frustrating that i didn't have answers to them
Leaving all thoughts aside i went to the office with a goal to have new start

But whenever I used to come in front of her she used to just give a soft smile and leave, thinking it was just work load i brushed it off, during the break time i saw her sitting in the corner table chatting with nikhil and sneha while having food
I gave a small single to rohan and he called me
Nikhil - arey Ankit tu waha kya kar raha hai come na,sit with us

I gave a smirk to nikhil

Ankit - ayaaa...

And sat beside Priyanka...she had a shocked expression on which i chuckled
'so cute'
And turned my face in front seeing a death starring sneha looking at me
If someone could kill with her eye it would be sneha that time
She kept on staring at me until i shifted a bit away from her

I had told nikhil everything about me and priyanka and requested if he could help me in again being friends with her,which without a second thought he accept

I was just going to say something when Priyanka stood up

Priyanka - sorry guys merko kaam hai, I'll take my leave first
She left with a smile and i kept on staring at her in confusion

Sneha -huhh...bhaga diya na usse

She stood upa nd went with pri leaving me and nikhil alone

Ankit -abh iss sneha ka kya hogaya?

Nikhil -priyanka nai usse sabh kuch bata diya...and take me serious she hates you

Ankit -abh?

Nikhil -abh kya-

We were talking when shanya came and sat beside me

Shanya -hi guys...do you have problem if I sit here?

Nikhil -ummm...sure,come sit

Ankit - tum log baat karo...mai chalta hun

Day by day i was trying my best to be my old normal self like we used to be in our college days but whenever I used to start a conversation with her or try to spend time she either used to avoid me or give excuses to leave first,
What really made me mad was seeing her talking to rohan with a smile,her laughing loudly on his 'lame jokes'

Who would laugh at those bad lame jokes,but look at her instead of spending time with me talking to me she is laughing at those bad jokes of rohan
Why can't she be the same with me as she is with others
All of this was getting on my nerves,so I decided to have a talk with her no matter what,even if she protests

The office hours got over and waited for her to come down,as soon as she came
I ran and held her hand,took her to the parking area

Priyanka-yae kya hai Ankit....mera hath chod

I stopped and came face to face

Ankit -i am sorry maine Aisae behave Kiya but i wanted to ask you something

Priyanka - baad Mai baat karte hai na...abhi i have to go

Ankit - yahi...merko issi bare mai baat karni hai,why are you ignoring me ?

Priyanka -ignor? Ankit i am not ignoring you..tujhae koi misunderstanding hai

Ankit -nahi,tu mere sath waise nahi rehti jaise tu sabke sath rehti hai...Priyanka i know you can't be the same with me jaise tu pehle thi but at least try toh kar...i am trying but agar tu aise merko avoid karegi toh kaise chalega? We are friends right?-

We got intrupted in between our conversation with shanya coming

Shanya - sorry i am disturbing you both but actually Ankit i need your help
Meri car kharab hogyi hai,can you drop me to my home
I thought you will be free but if you guys are talking.... I'll take a cab

I was not in a mood to stop our conversation so didn't stop Shanaya from going... until priyanka said

Priyanka - nahi shanaya we can continue our conversation tomorrow also
You guys continue

Shanaya - really...that really sweet of you Priyanka

Priyanka -mai chalti hu.....bye

I was just standing there in a shocked expression, processing what just happened

Ankit - priyanka...itni raat hai,I'll drop you

Priyanka -nahi it's fine...mai rickshaw lae lungi

Jab tak mai usse rokta..she already took one and left leaving me and Shanaya alone

Shanaya -i am sorry...maine tum dono ki conversation kharab kardi... seriously agar meri car kharab na hoti i won't have bulged you

Ankit -nahi...it's okay, come

I said with a sign and got a call from nikhil

Nikhil - adhe gante mai the Indian cafe par aa...i and sneha want to talk to you

Ankit -kyu kya hua?

Nikhil -zyada sawal mat puch...seedha aja

I hung up the call and looked at sneha in a blank expression...which she was trying to figure out

Shanaya- what happened

Ankit -ahhh....Shanaya i have an urgent work due to which i have to leave immediately.... please cab lae lo and call me when you get home

Shanaya- but-

Ankit - really sorry
I ran to his car and left within a nano second

I parked my car in the parking lot and looked for nikhil and sneha

Nikhil - Ankit idharrrrr

I figured out where they were and sat with them,both having a serious expression
Ankit - kya hua...itna urgent kyu bulaya ?

Both gave each other a nod

Nikhil -hume tujhase ek baat karni hai

Ankit-....kis bare mai ?

Nikhil -priyanka kae Barre mai....

Ankit -matlab..mai kuch samjha nahi? Kya bolna cha raha hai

Sneha - isse kuch nahi hoga...mai batati hu
Ankit I'll come straight to the point...do you love priyanka?

Ankit - kya baat kar rahi hoo...we are just friends

Sneha -agar dost he ho then why are having a problem when she goes with rohan,agar dost ho then why did you come back from London?,why are you taking help from nikhil
See Ankit she has already suffered a lot because of you now i really don't want you to waste her time

Ankit -tum janti ho na kya bol rahi ho....she has already told me ki uske dil mai koi feelings nahi..it was a misunderstanding

Sneha -is he really that dump...ya iska bheja kharab hai.... kharab hai toh mai bohot ache sae theek kar sakti hun
Can't you see she is clearly affected,jab bhi tum uske pass hote ho,do you know how much has she cried when you returned
I am warning you Ankit Gupta...don't play with her feelings
Pehle khud ko clear Karo phir uske samne ana

Nikhil - tu shant hoja
Baad Mai baat karte hai
Ankit hum chalte hai nahi toh yaha murder hojayega

I was left there thinking off what sneha said...if there is even 1% truth in what she said ...i won't forgive myself

But we are just friends nothing more than that.......i guess
