Quality time

"Gguk come here, breakfast is getting cold " I call him & soon heard him running towards me, I smiled before turning to him with a butter knife in my hand.

But, this is not what I expected to encounter early in the morning.....

The knife falls from my hand when I looked at a big black wolf with gorgeous purple eyes looking at me, Sitting on the carpet, shyly. I stare at him for some good time, he looked quite uncomfortable under my gaze maybe he is embarrassed or scared by the rejection ' my silly Gguk ' he looked down. I mentally punched myself before taking steps toward him.

I sit down in front of him who looked up at me & whimpering making my heart break.' He is insecure '
I smile at him & put my hand on his head, petting him softly. He purred then, I kissed his head lovingly.

" Wolfie " I softly said, not wanting to scare him with my over-excitement about hugging this cute wolfie to the death. He buried his head under my neck, sniffing. I hugged him " You're so beautiful & cute " I whisper to him who licked my neck giving me goosebumps. We stayed like this for some time before I again spoke " Wolfie, Yk you can tell me anything " he shivered a little, pulling away.

But before he can go to transform into his human form I stopped him " Hey, baby wolfie!! Let's eat first. Let me fill your tummy my wolfie " I said to him who looked excited & started howling making my heart melt.

' Y/n!!! You stupid girl, you should spend some time with wolfie too. He looks kinda sad when I asked him that... Aish granny is right I'm stupid ' I enter my kitchen to make some more food for my cute wolfie, he took a seat on the floor looking at me cooking, I smiled & peck his forehead. 'Damn!! His shiny purple eyes are my favorite '

We both sit on the carpet of our living room, I started feeding him who howls happily at every bite he takes.
After finishing our breakfast, I call my office to cancel my meetings. I looked at him, looking at me tilting his head. My heart melted every time I look at him. ' I'm really blessed to have him as my soulmate ' I take seat on my couch, he walked to me, lying down with his head on my lap. I keep caressing his soft fur " Baby wolfie!!! Do you wanna play with me?" I said to him who excitedly jump on the floor, and grabbed my sleeves by his mouth, pulling me.

I pecked his head " Who's my pretty mate?" I cooed & he howls happily, increasing my urge to hug him. I laughed & told him to follow me, he looked confused but still obeyed.
We walked toward the elevator, I pressed the button for the top floor after we entered it. He still looks confused.

I opened the door for him, who entered with enthusiasm but soon stopped.

He started running making me laugh, ' my cute mate ' I admire him for some time before joining him. I ran to catch him but he is too fast.

After an hour of playing with him, we sat on the ground. I pat his head lovingly but soon my eyes fall on the pendant around his neck. I looked at it carefully ' I saw it somewhere but where? ' I tried to think, suddenly wolfie licked my face many times. I glared at him playfully who again lick my face & run again.

" Yahhhhh!!!! Stop you naughty wolf "

Wolfie & I spend the whole day playing & eating a lot. Now it's evening time, He transformed into his human form while I took shower to get rid of sweat & dirt. I smiled when saw him smiling to himself, lost in his thoughts looking out from the balcony attached to our room.

I back-hugged him, he whined & complain about how I startled him. I kissed the side of his neck, " What are you thinking bun? " I asked him in a soft tone " I am thinking about how I met you & found out about the mate thing, I'm glad & feeling the happiest rn," he said turning around to face me not breaking our hug " I'm glad too... " I said smiling back at him, we stare at each other lovingly. I caress his cheek, kissing his forehead "I love you, Bun!! Love you so much " I whisper to him whose cheeks turn pink, he hugged me tightly mumbling 'I love you the most ' I closed my eyes, drowning in this moment completely.

" look at them being all lovey-dovey. I will make sure you will die painfully Jeongguk like how your so-called mother did "I fumed in anger looking at them from afar, I called one of my men to execute the plan now.
" Make sure to kill that girl in front of him " I ordered him smirking " Showtime " I looked at my men who are entering their place with guns in their hands.

Jeongguk pov

I'm hugging my Y/na when suddenly I get hit by the smell of other wolves around us, I looked at Y/na in panic. " Y/na, we have intruders in our place. I can smell wolves here " I said to her looking here n there, she smiled at me taking me off guard.
" I know "

" Mr. Park is everything ready? " she called Mr. Park, Lara's father but why? I questioned myself looking at her. She hangs the call before taking my hands on her " Let's go bun " she said before taking me with her toward the back exit. We left the place standing outside in front of Mr. Park who smiled at us & gives Y/n the keys of the car. " Thanks," she said politely, but suddenly get hugged by him. "Saving you is my duty, please don't say thanks Y/n," he said genuinely caressing her head with so much love, I smile at the scene. She cleared her throat pulling out from the sudden hug. " I think we should leave now Mr. Park," she said with a small blush crept on her cheeks making my heart melt " hmm, take care," Mr. Park said smiling at us, we drive away after greeting him one more time.

"Y/na, where are we going?" I asked looking at her side profile. She turns to me with a smirk on her face.

"To meet your stepmom," she said casually & take a turn toward the forest making me surprised.
