Why am I afraid of monsters that don't exist,
And why do I let these irrational fears persist?
Why do I create shadows that aren't there,
And put all my energy into it,
All of my care?
Why do I do this
Over and over again?
Destroying myself deeper and deeper within?
Why do I let delusions plague me night and day?
It makes me so weak.
Why don't I just make them go away?
Why do I let these lies spread through my soul?
How silly of me to do this because we both know who's in control
The Lord, the God who never fails

Deliver me from the one who torments me.
