chapter: 02The beginning of us: how we get close

Wilson and Julie spent more time together, they grew closer and closer. There were so many little things that brought them together – shared interests, shared experiences, and even shared jokes. One of their favorite pastimes was making tattoos on each other with pens or markers. Julie was especially talented at this, and Wilson loved getting to show off his new "tattoos" to his friends.

But there was one moment that stood out to Wilson as particularly special. It was a day when he was in Julie's classroom, borrowing a pen from her. He never gave it back, and every time he saw her after that, she would jokingly ask for it back. It was a silly little joke, but it made Wilson feel special – like he was part of an inside joke with Julie.

One day, as they were all hanging out during a break between classes, Wilson mustered up the courage to put his arm around Julie. He had always wanted to do it, but he was scared of being rejected. To his surprise, Julie didn't push him away – in fact, she seemed to like it. She told him that he was the only boy she ever let touch her, and Wilson was overjoyed. From that moment on, he knew that he had a special place in Julie's heart, and he felt closer to her than ever before.

From the moment that Julie let Wilson touch her, he started feeling a strong sense of protectiveness towards her. He didn't like seeing other boys touching her, and he always wanted to be the one by her side. Every day when he came to school, he would bring her little gifts – snacks or drinks that he knew she liked. It was his way of showing her that he cared about her and wanted to make her happy.

As the days went by, Wilson couldn't deny that he was developing feelings for Julie. He enjoyed spending time with her and loved making her smile. He started to realize that he wanted to be more than just friends with her, and he hoped that one day he would have the chance to tell her how he felt. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was willing to take the risk for the chance to be with the girl he had come to love.
