chapter: 05 The Pain of Heartbreak

One day, as Wilson was walking home from school with his friend Jim Mackly, Jim mentioned Julie and told Wilson that she was in love with a new Haitian boy at their school named Woodly. Wilson's heart sank as he listened to Jim's words, and he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had always had feelings for Julie, but he never knew that she had feelings for someone else.

Determined to find out the truth, Wilson went back to school on Monday and approached Woodly. When he asked him about Julie, Woodly told him that he didn't like her and thought she was weird. Wilson was shocked and hurt by Woodly's words, and he couldn't understand why Julie would be in love with someone who didn't feel the same way.

Despite Woodly's rejection, Julie was still in love with him and kept telling Wilson about her feelings. It was a painful experience for Wilson, and he felt angry and sad at the same time. Over the Christmas vacation, he and Julie had a falling out, and when school started again, he didn't speak to her for a few days. Even though he was hurt by her feelings for Woodly, he still cared about her and he didn't want to lose her friendship. He just hoped that one day, she would see that he was the one who truly cared about her.
