Elizabeth's POV

Elizabeth had just entered the train, desperate in finding someone to sit with. She holds onto her cross body bag tightly worriedly, the train starts just as she tries to hold herself up but nearly bumps into someone.
"Oh gosh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" she exclaimed.
She looked up and saw her brunette puffy hair, she was already wearing her Gryffindor uniform. Elizabeth shyly smiled at the girl feeling bad about what had happened.
"Don't worry about it. It was an accident." the girl said quietly.
"I'm Elizabeth Snape!" she said cheerfully, as she stuck her hand out.
"I'm Hermione Granger." the girl replied shaking her hand, "Are you related to Severus Snape?" asked Hermione.
She shook her head, "No, well, sorta. He's my adoptive father." she explained
"Oh, then shouldn't you be with him?" she questioned.
She chuckled, "Yeah but -- er -- I wanted to experience going inside Hogwarts Express."
Hermione smiled, "Ah! I guess that makes sense."
Elizabeth sighed, "I should get going now" and was about to walk away.
"If you want you could sit with me and my friends." suggested Hermione.
Elizabeth shook her head, "I would but I'm looking for Mattheo Riddle. I was ordered to sit with him."
She looked surprise, "You know Mattheo Riddle?"
She nodded her head, "Yeah, Snape had to also raise him since he's also adopted, anyways, I should get going. Bye!"
Hermione had waved bye and then Elizabeth walked past her, looking for Mattheo. She held onto her bag tightly again nervously. She kept looking through compartments looking for him and bumped into a girl. "Not again." she thought to herself.
"I'm so sorry! I should've watched where I was going!" she said apologetically.
"It's alright" the girl said.
She was ginger haired and seemed like a first year just like Elizabeth. Her hair was long and she had freckles on her face.
"I'm Ginny Weasley.", Ginny grinned as she said that.
"Elizabeth Snape" Elizabeth responded feeling sluggish.
"Are you first year as well?" Ginny asked excitedly.
Elizabeth nodded, "Yep, I am."
Ginny smiled even wider, "Me too! If you want you could sit with me!"
Elizabeth chuckled, "I can't, I gotta sit with someone else, sorry though Ginny."
"Aw, well I can't wait to see you again Elizabeth!" giggled Ginny
Elizabeth smiled and waved bye as she left to keep looking for Mattheo. She looked into a compartment and found him sitting with a blonde boy, whose hair was slick back, and a girl with black hair and bangs. Elizabeth opened the compartment and sat beside Mattheo as she slightly smiled at them.
"What took you long, Elizabeth?" asked Mattheo.
"I bumped into people by mistake." she explained.
"Ah, no worries then!" said Mattheo, "Meet my friends, Draco and Pansy, there's more but they're at a different compartment."
Elizabeth waved, "Hi. I'm Elizabeth Snape."
The girl smiled, "You're related to Professor Snape?"
Elizabeth sighed quietly, "Yeah."
She didn't want to keep explaining her relationship with him so she just gave up with it. The blonde boy looked at Elizabeth suspiciously.
"Are you a first year?" he asked.
Elizabeth nodded shyly to the question, "Yeah."
The way he asked it made her feel ashamed about it. She felt even more worse than she felt before after answering. She looked at him worriedly as to how he would respond to it. He had his nose scrunched up.
"What house do you think you're gonna get?" questioned the boy
Elizabeth shrugged. She hoped she wouldn't get Slytherin. She didn't want to be stuck with these three. She wanted to be in whatever house other than Slytherin. She looked over to Mattheo who was shaking his head.
"She'll be in Slytherin. It's supposed to happen." answered Mattheo.
Elizabeth frowned. She knew she was nothing like them, she wouldn't be put in Slytherin. She wouldn't be stuck with Mattheo and his friends. She was determined to get Gryffindor with the girl she first met, Hermione.
