Ann took you to a place called the Beach. You learned more about this world including the importance of the cards. The hatter was the king of the Beach and he was very impressed with the game you cleared, Ann told him how you did and he said you looked like a hearts player.
A girl named Mira was excited to have another hearts player.

They explained Visas and you now have 6 days before you need to participate in another game.
The thought of doing this again and again made you worry. If you had gotten more people like Chishiya in that game would you have been able to win? He knew your lie but decided not to make you lose.

You layed down in the room you were assigned and stared at the ceiling recalling everything that has happened today in utter disbelief. It doesn't matter how much tv you watched, Nothing prepared you for this moment.

You woke up around 12 the next day. From what you were told as long as you didn't have a game you could just chill here. "Sex, drugs, and alcohol" None of those really interested you like the idea of sleeping in did.

One rule of the Beach, Wear a swimsuit. As weird as it sounded it was smart so of course you followed. You chose what felt the most comfortable and decided to explore. The Beach was big and had a lot to see so it gave you a lot to do. Your plans however didn't run exactly with everyone else's.

Before you stepped outside a girl with dreads and a fake cigarette came up to you. She was beautiful that much was obvious. Her hair looked amazing and she has a thin body. She had a face that would make most girls jealous.

"Hey, I'm Kuina" she said extending a hand for you to shake. You hesitated but grabbed it. She smiled and looked you over. "I heard you played a game with Chishiya" She said and held open the door for you. Someone so extroverted was friends with someone like Chishiya?

"Yeah he's smart" you had no idea what to say. Some people thought you were rude but you really just had no clue how to talk to others. Just smile was all you knew to do when meeting new people.
"He thinks you have potential to survive here thats a high honor" She said nudging into you slightly

"I'm skeptical on that, Spades doesn't sound like my type of game" You laughed as the two of y'all walked around the building. She was letting you lead and just followed. You felt comfortable talking to her and it's good to have a friend.

"What's that?" You asked noticing how all she was doing was chewing on her fake cigarette. "It's to help me quit, it's working so far" She said slouching on the wall when you stopped walking.
"Did you really beat a 6 of hearts game?" She asked eagerly. You would have thought Chishiya would have told her about it.
"Yeah it was 2 truths and a lie" She laughed at your response and it was refreshing to talk to people like normal. "I would have totally lost that game" she said in between laughs. You started laughing a bit too.
"I don't know you could probably think of something to trick them" You said joining her against the wall.

The two of you stood their talking and she updated you on the more personal aspects of the beach like who to avoid and we're the best places we're. Suddenly it was like you were back in the old world in highschool with your friends just living without a worry.

Out of the corner of you're eye you saw a guy with a white hoodie leaning over the railing of the second floor looking at you. He gave you a little wave and you waved back. Kuina followed you're eyes and saw Chishiya. She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"He's so smart but so creepy sometimes" She said shaking her head.
