The next day

I was sitting on the bed in my room

Leigh walked over and gave me a long hug

"Leigh, I don't know what to do" I cry into her shoulder

"Shhhh, it's going to be alright Perrie, shhhh" she strokes my hair

I hold onto her tightly

"What am I going to tell mum" I don't let go

"You don't have to, just stop worrying about other people, just worry about you" she hold my shoulder and looks into my bloodshot eyes "you are going to be alright" she says to me

I suddenly remember all the times he tortured me, the way he would push me to the ground and if I didn't listen to what he said, he would slap me across the face then force me to sleep out on the patio

{flashback}

"PERRIE EDWARDS! YOU DONT COME ALL THE WAY TO MY HOUSE JUST TO PLAY ON YOUR IPOD! IF I ASK YOU TO CLEAN UP YOU DO IT STRAIGHT AWAY!" He tightened his grip on my wrist as I winced at the pain, I tried to hide the sniffling and tears as he pulled me into the kitchen,

I heard the kettle pop and he looked at me and smiled

He pulled me close to the kettle as I grabbed the countertop and tried to pull back, but my 10 year old, weak arms were no comparison to his strong ones

He gave me one big tug and I lost my ground he dragged me and I tried to stay on the floor

He held my arm out over the sink and he held the kettle in his hand, "just because your mum and I are divorced doesn't mean I can't do this" he smiled at me

He began to tip the kettle over my skinny arm

The water hit my arm and I streamed an ear pricing scream

"LET GO OF ME!" I was jumping up and down crying

He gladly let go and I ran to the bathroom

I turned the tap on and put my arm under the cold water

Stream ran off my arm as I cooled down

It was completely red as I locked the bathroom door

I sat on the ground and cried and cried, I couldn't take it no more, I just had to get away from him

"Perrieeeeeeee" Leigh snapped me out of the flashback

I was so afraid and she definately noticed, she gave me another hug and I began to cry again

"Shhhh baby it's gonna be alright"

I cry harder and harder

I heard Leigh's phone begin to ring

She ignores it and continues hugging me as I cry and cry

The ringer stops and then begins again

She lets go and groans, she reached into her back pocket and pulls out her phone

"Hello" she asks

"Oh hey Niall" she says

"Really! The test results came back" she seems happy

"Ok, we'll be there in half an hour" she tosses her phone on the bed

"The test results from jades test thingy came back" she holds my hand

"That's so great, I hope it's good" I wipe my face

I stand up and walk into the bathroom

I wash my face and walk back out
