It's James Potter, Sirius' best friend. I know I annoy you a lot, and I know you have your whole reputation to keep, but if you owl me, no one had to know

I won't even tell Siri, I promise. Tell me if you're okay with me telling him though. Because I don't keep a lot from him. But I won't tell anyway. I'm actually good at keeping secrets.

I've been told I'm a good friend and that I have low expectations, which I do. You don't have to owl me a lot. I'm going to owl you a bunch though.

I know you got my letter. I saw you get it. You haven't answered it yet. I don't know if you were planning to, but it's not going to stop me from writing to you, you just ignoring me. I hope you don't just burn them, that's a waste. I hope you read them.

I hope that maybe me writing you makes you feel less alone. But we can't really be friends with just me writing you. I'm going to write you once a week. I did it twice this week, but I realized it might be suspicious to your mates.

Do you have mates? Or like sorta friends? Are you bullied? Are you a bully?

I got your letter. I'm so glad you wrote. Even though it was short. And sorta mean.

I'm still writing you. If you think it's endangering you, I'll try to be more discreet.

I don't think you're a bully. Though you do let your peers bully others. I don't tend to see you hang out with the more bully-like slytherins. Maybe you're not nice, but I think you have some good in you.

I think that was supposed to be a threat? I'm not an easy person to bully.

This week Sirius told me about a memory where you and him played magic chess and you beat him for the first time. He says beginnings luck. I know you're just smart.

Also, Valentine's coming up. Ask anyone?

I'm thinking of a nickname for you. Reggie, reg, R, ReRe.

I saw you burn the envelope. The people you sit with, I don't know if they are your friends, they must have seen that. I'll be more discreet.

I saw you take out the letter before burning the envelope. Maybe I watch you too much. But you read them.

There's so much history to remember, I honestly do not know how I don't fall asleep. Good thing I have Remus or I swear I would never pass.
