It was the night before moving day. The night before going to university. The Oikawa and Iwaizumi families were spending time together, their two nineteen-year-old sons hiding away telling each other their secrets, insults, and affirmations like they did when they were younger. And now, graduated Tooru Oikawa and Hajime Iwaizumi sat on Tooru's floor, their legs crossed and close together.

"Iwa-Chan?"

"Hm?"

"Are you going to miss me?"

"That's a stupid question."

He hit him with a pillow. "Answer it!"

"No, I won't miss you."

Tooru gasped and dragged back the pillow, hugging it to his chest.

"You didn't deserve that pillow."

"You're such an idiot."

"I know."

Hajime glanced over at his best friend for a second before looking back at the iPhone screen in front of him.

"You're not an idiot."

"I just said 'I know' because you've said that to me so many times," Tooru replied, his eyebrows raised in surprise.

"Oh."

Tooru smiled. "But thank you, though. That seemed like the first compliment you've ever given me."

"Don't let it get to your head, shittykawa," Hajime replied.

Tooru Oikawa hummed, laying his legs out over his friend's lap and resting his back on the carpeted floor. Iwaizumi noticed but continued typing loudly on his phone screen.

"Will you get off your phone, Iwaizumi?!" Tooru scoffed, throwing a loose stuffed animal at him. "This is our last night together!"

"We'll see each other in the morning," Iwaizumi answered, setting his phone down.

"So? And then we won't see each other for four years!" Oikawa cried, his voice rising. But then his voice quieted. "What if you forget about me?"

"I won't forget about you, dumbass," Iwaizumi answered, placing his hand on Oikawa's leg. "You're too annoying," he finished, his hand rushing to the soles of Oikawa's feet. Oikawa squealed and curled his legs in before kicking Iwaizumi in the shoulder as he went in for a tackle.

Oikawa laughed and Iwaizumi smiled, leaning tauntingly over his best friend. Oikawa looked up at Iwa's green eyes and his cheeks flushed. Iwa noticed and his cheeks reddened, moving back onto his knees.

"Well, at least you are smiling," Iwaizumi grumbled.

"Aw, was that what all that was about?" Oikawa teased, moving closer. "Were you trying to get me to smile?" Iwaizumi pushed him and frowned.

Oikawa giggled and leaned against the foot of his bed, his knees curled up to his chest.

"You know you love me."

"Fuck off."
