"hey, it's you again!" a tanned boy who always let out a warm chakra presence stated, pointing at the golden haired girl who grew amused at their once again idiocy.

"indeed, i have once again graced you both with my presence."

"presence, my ass.." the porcupine haired boy grumped. "you may have beaten us once, but that was a battle of dance, and it was only the beginning. i swear; one day i will beat you!"

he pursed his lips into a thin line; slightly narrowing his eyes with a flustered flush on his cheeks. the male suddenly grew self-conscious when she turned her gaze towards him--those azure eyes of hers felt like he was being pulled in deep inside an ocean.

but even with that look that drew him in, he didn't shy away and merely squinted his eyes back at her.

"oh, is that so?" she raised a brow.

"yes."

"i will wait for your victory then. although, it is already futile since you cannot surpass me."

his brows furrowed in the middle, "..and how can you say that."

"based on my intuition, of course." that answer of hers made him frown with a mocking look settling on his face.

"pah! mere intuition means nothing!"

the brunette boy next to him let a sweat drop down from his temple, "i don't know about that, man.."

"hey!" the ravenette faced him with a frustrated look clear in his expression. "even you, you don't believe i can beat her?"

"i mean, uh.. i don't know! i can't quite answer that, i'm not a psychic or something.." he scratched his hair, "and plus.. she really seems confident, so-"

"hmph." the previous boy turned to look back to the girl, only to see her missing from the spot he last saw her in. his eyes dilated from shock, turning to look back at his male companion to ask: "w-what the--! where is she-"

'she was just on the other side of the river a moment ago! ..is she, a shinobi--?'

the boy felt the left side of his face being poked.

startled, he looked back to his left and was surprised at the close proximity he had with the anonymous girl.

the boy almost shrieked.

a girl being this close to him? may god help him for his already palpitating heart, plus the sudden rise of heat to the back of his neck.

his already odd style of a hair stood up even more from her skin being in contact with his. he felt an almost unnoticeable use of chakra being exposed out of her fingertips, pouring into his.

'..wha--what is she doing--!?'

numerous conspiracies clouded into his mind, but what concerned him the most at the moment was the egoistic female that was still millimeters away from his face.

if someone could look closely, perhaps hot steam flew out of his ears. it was probably from how hot her chakra was that were currently circling inside his own core..

she hummed.

"hm.. i see," she retreated her index finger, satisfied that she identified a bit of their identity based on physical features and the presence of their chakra. she then walked to the other boy with thoughts in mind, 'an uchiha.. what about the other human, though?'
