I turned quickly and pressed my back against the door. I saw Khada Jhin to the right of the grand staircase. I began shaking from fear, "I w-wasn't doing anything... I was looking for you, sir..." my voice was just above a whisper.

He walked towards me, he was wearing something new, a nice suit with a dark green tie to match my dress. Jhin had no discernible emotion on his face, just a blank look like he was staring directly through me.

"Darling, I believe you. Come, let us eat, I've already finished preparing our meal. You look perfect." He reached out and took my hand gently, kissing the top before leading me down the hallway.

I was completely stunned, he saw me trying to open the door and didn't punish me? Maybe it wasn't so bad to stay here, maybe he really was nicer than I thought. He lead me into a lovely dining room with an ornate chandelier gracing the center of the ceiling. Everything about this house, this mansion, was gorgeous.

Jhin lead me to one of the chairs with a place setting and pulled the chair out for me. I sat down.

"I will be back in a moment, dove, don't worry." With that he turned and went opposite of the way we entered, I assumed he was going to the kitchen. I waited patiently, eying the room carefully. It was too big, I felt lonely being in it alone, but at the same time It made me feel very powerful, like all of it was mine.

Jhin came back into the room carrying two platters with silver covers. I felt like a princess, and it was nice. He placed one in front of me and placed one at his seat across from me as well. He lifted the silver covers to show a magnificent meal. It was steak, potatoes, and assorted vegetables all cooked to perfection. I wanted to dig in right away, but I looked at Jhin for reassurance.

He poured a glass of wine for me and then poured himself a glass. He sat across from me and began to eat, gesturing for me to eat as well. I gladly did so, as starving as I was. It tasted perfect, everything about it was delicious. I didn't want to eat too fast to seem desperate, so I slowed down.

I looked up from my food to see Jhin staring at me, he was smiling. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked softly.

"Oh nothing, I'm just glad we met." He continued to eat.

I didn't say anything, but it caused me to think. Glad he... met me? I guess you could call it meeting, but he kidnapped me... right? I couldn't really remember what exactly had happened that brought me here.

I snapped out of it and just ate my food. He ate his. When we were both finished he took our dishes back to the kitchen, assuring me he would be back. I sat, feeling strange. He came back and held out his hand and began leading me into another room.

"Where are we going?" I asked softly.

"I'm going to leave for a moment, but I'll let you spend time with someone close to me." He spoke, looking straight ahead with that same emotionless look on his face. I began to worry as to what he meant by that.

He lead me into another bedroom that looked very similar to the one I was kept in. The only difference was the large man laying on the bed. He scrambled onto the floor in front of us  and bowed to Jhin. I looked down at the man, then up at Jhin.

"Stand up." Jhin spat, "Now, dove, this is my most obedient slave, he is very close to my heart, as are you. So it makes perfect sense to me to introduce the two of you to each other."

The man stood, he was larger than Jhin, which seemed strange to me, but at the same time, Jhin was a very dangerous man with many weapons at his disposal. I simply said, "Oh, I see."

Needless to say, I was nervous about this large man. He bowed his head to Jhin, "Thank you, sir, that's is very thoughtful of you."

Jhin rolled his eyes, "Yes, yes, I'll be back at some point, stay out of trouble, both of you." And with that, he left, the door thudding behind him.

I slowly turned to the man standing before me. "Hello..." I nearly whispered. "My name is-"

He covered my mouth before I said my name and I backed away, "What was that for?"

"Don't tell me your name, what does master call you?" The man asked.

"He calls me Dove most of the time..." I trailed off.

"I see. Master refers to me as bear or teddy bear, depending on how he is feeling." The man stood before me, his face changing from an indifferent expression to one of annoyance. "So, he's taken a liking to you then?"

I looked down, "I... guess so, but I'm not really sure."

The man took a step towards me, "Well, then I'm sure you don't know what happens to those who lose his favor?"

I stepped away, feeling afraid, "N-no... I don't know what happens." I said shakily.

"Well. 'Dove'. If he starts to like you more, he'll like me less and less. I won't be his favorite anymore and that means I'm done for. It sounds to me like you're growing on him." He moved closer to me until I was backed into the door. I was shaking from fear at this point.

"I didn't mean to, I... I don't want it to be like this, what can I d-do?" I pleaded with the large man.

He looked down at me. "You are very beautiful. I can see why You're his new favorite. It's a shame I have to kill you to earn my spot back."

I turned quickly, trying to turn the door knob to no avail, locked from the outside. He grabbed the back of my head and pushed it into the door roughly. He then wrapped an arm around my neck, squeezing. The man choked me while I clawed and scratched at him to get him to let me go.

I bent my knee to lift my heel up into the man's groin, striking him hard. He recoiled for a moment and let go.

"Jhin-! Help me-!" I gasped out, banging on the door. Yelling for a man that had kidnapped me, forced himself upon me multiple times, and had threatened to kill me felt wrong but he was all I had.

The man grabbed my hair and threw me to the ground easily. He climbed on top of me and wrapped both his hands around my throat.

"Calling for master? Like he'll help you?" The man growled, laughing to himself. I tried to gasp for air, clawing and kicking to try and get away.

After a moment,  I heard the door open and the man let go, turning around. Jhin was there in his mask with his gun. He held up his gun to the man who had just attacked me and shot him four times. Blood spattered all over me as I groggily looked at Jhin. The lack of oxygen made everything hard to process, but I could see as Jhin kicked away the man's body before kneeling beside me and picking me up bridal style.

"Nobody can harm you while I'm here." Jhin whispered. He carried me out of the room while I shook violently in his arms. While I had just seen a man die in front of me by the hands of a serial killer, I felt safe in his arms. At least for now.
