Today will be my first trip into the dungeon. Thanks to Eina's lessons I know all the monsters that spawn. the terrain, and surroundings from floor 1-5. I was very excited to finally enter the dungeon, though kind of nervous. Even though I've killed a couple of goblins and had training from my grandfather, the monsters inside the dungeon are way different then the monsters in the forests. The forests in my village were always scattered with goblins, the first time I encountered my first goblin was when I was 9. The only other time I was in the forest is when I either help my grandfather gather wood or help hunt animals, and back then I could barely even hold myself together fighting 1 goblin. "The dungeon is ruthless and unforgiving!" As Eina says, the goblins in the forest are nothing compared to the goblins in the dungeon.
Before I walked through the front door of the manor I heard Riveria calling my name. Weird, how come she's up this early in the morning?
"Bell, before you go make sure you head to the guild to tell Eina that your going into the dungeon"
I turned around too look at her
"Dont worry Miss Riveria I will!"
I turned back around and exited the front door.
Today was a rather cloudy day, but that doesn't stop the citizens from doing their every day job. The streets were more packed today than usual. I've never seen it this packed before, was this in preparation for that Monsterphillia event? I heard about it from the commotion in the dining room from other members, something about bringing monsters from the dungeon and fighting them in that big stadium. I really didn't think it would be this big of an event if there's this many people out at 6AM. I was weaving through the large crowds and started making my way to the guild, before suddenly I see a waitress waving at... me?
"Mr. Bell!" The waitress yelled, was Syr her name? I think that's what I heard the other waitresses called her.
"Yes?" I asked a bit skeptical, thinking they're gonna bring me back in there and drain me of my money like last time.
"You're an adventurer right? I think you left one of your stones here!" The waitress said, wait, stones? I haven't even stepped foot in the dungeon yet?
"I don't think that's mine Miss... Syr? Sorry if I got your name wrong" I asked, a bit confused why I was the first person she thought would leave a stone behind.
"Yes, Syr is my name, Syr Flova!" She said all excited
"Oh! What was I saying again... Oh yes! Someone left it here the last time you stopped by, I thought you could have it, I'm sure the person who left it here wouldn't really care about one stone"
"Oh... thank you Ms. Syr" I replied, still a bit skeptical about the whole thing
"Did you eat breakfast? You can have my breakfast if you like, you're heading into the dungeon right?"
"Yeah, it'll be my first trip down, but are you sure? It doesn't feel right taking your breakfast"
"Oh it's alright! You can repay me by coming back here to eat dinner!"
I sighed, seeing that it looks like I'll have to be in the dungeon for a while if I'm going to that valis sucking tavern. Seeing I have no other option, and that she was putting on that cute smile, I had no choice but to agree.
She handed me her bento box, I bowed my head and said thank you to show my gratitude, I started to head back towards the guild."Please be okay in the dungeon Mr. Bell! I'll see you later!" I turned back around to see her smiling and waving at me
"I'll see you later Ms. Syr"
