It was a cold day in Hawkins Indiana and snow was drifting onto the ground in short intervals. The kids attending Hawkins high are very excited, knowing that they are a few hours away from winter break. That also meant that Christmas is nearing.

Among the students in the school, there is a group of friends. It is a group that contains 6 people, and they were more excited than anyone else in the entire school. This group had some plans to do over the 2 weeks that they had off from school.

6:56 am - Mike and Will
It was between passing periods and Will is standing at his locker. he was almost done at his locker when a familiar voice whispered into his ear from behind him, "Boo." Will could already tell who it was behind him from their voice. "Hello Michael!" Will says while still looking into his locker, grabbing stuff he needs for first period and shutting his locker. Mike wraps his arms around Will, still behind him, and says in return, "Hello William. Whatcha doin?" Then Mike smiles.
Will says, "I'm getting stuff from my locker if you can't already tell. What are you doing?" Will also smiles. "Just visiting my best friend. Is that a problem Mr. byers?" Will chuckles softly and Mikes cheeks turn a light red at the sound of Wills chuckle.

Ever since Mike has broken up with El, he's been more clingy around Will. El was the one to break up with Mike but Mike wasn't that surprised that she broke up with him. They both had feelings for other people so they weren't that attracted to each other anymore. They are still best friends though.

The bell then suddenly rings and Will grabs Mikes hand and they both run to class. Once they enter the classroom, both giggling quietly, they both sit at a table that has room for two people. Everyone is staring at them and when they saw the teacher staring at them they stopped giggling. The teacher then looks away from them and says, "Alright, Good morning class!" The teacher continues to talk and then Will pulls out a white airpod case out of his pocket. He then opens the case and puts one airpod in his ear. Mike, instead of looking at the teacher, is looking at Will. Will looks down at his paper and starts to doodle on it, quietly humming to the music that he's listening to.

Feelin' so confused, you don't know what to do. Afraid she might not love you anymore.

Mike smiles softly as Will hums, then Will takes his eyes off his paper and looks at Mike. When Will looks at Mike, he swiftly turns his head to look at the front of the room while blushing from embarrassment. "Mike.. What were you looking at?" Will says quietly, with a sarcastic smirk spread across his face. "Nothing!" Mike answers back quietly, smiling and looking back at Will.

Will knows that Mike likes him even though he hasn't said it yet. Will has also liked Mike for about 3 or 4 years. Although Will knows that Mike likes him, he is to afraid to share his feelings with Mike. On the other hand, Mike doesn't know that Will has feelings for him. Also, he doesn't know that Will knows he has feelings for him.

"Yeah whatever.." Will says sarcastically, looking back down at his paper and continuing to doodle on it. Mike leans down to take out a stack of post-it's from his bag, and then starts to write on one. Once he finishes writing on the post-it, he peels it off the stack of yellow square paper and slides it over to Will. Will notices and then takes the small piece of paper and reads what's on it. It reads, god this class is sooo boring! >:( . Will smiles at the note and then starts to right back. He slides it back over to Mike when he's finished writing on it. Mike reads it and it says, ikr :( . Next to it there is a small drawing of Mike. Mike then smiles, softly blushing.

Then, out of know where, the bell rings. Mike and Will grab their stuff and walk out the classroom just like the rest of the kids in the classroom. Mike waves to Will, who is now walking the other direction from Mike. Will waves back with a smile on his face and then continues to walk away.

It is now lunch time and the group of 6 friends are sitting at a table together. Lucas and Dustin are arguing about something in the background while Mike, Will, Max, and El conversate.

Max says over Lucas and Dustin's rambling, "do you guys maybe wanna do something afterschool? Like go hang out at Mikes house or something?" El then blurts out, "How about a sleepover? We haven't had one of those in like ages!" Will replies, "I agree with El!" "Mhm!" Max says as she nods her head rapidly. Mike says blandly, "Ok fine. My mom will be out of town and my dad is working late tonight. Someone ask Lucas and Dustin if they wanna come too." Dustin and Lucas have calmed down a bit and now they were just chatting about some video game they like. Max turns her head over to Lucas and Dustin and Max says, loud enough so they could both hear, "Hey guys!" The two turn their attention over to Max. She continues, "Do you wanna come to a sleepover at Mikes tonight?" They both say yes and then continue the chat they were having before Max interrupted. Max turns her head back to the others and says, "Ok! They are coming!" Then the bell rings and Mike tells the rest of the group, "See you guys tonight!" and they all go their separate ways.
