Chapter 2: Mysterious Guest

Gernado was in despair after what he had witnessed, but he saw someone who was asking who was alive in this disaster, Gernado thought before he shouted, He decided not to call and ran away from the person to the BPS HQ. He looked for Adam and Jonah but it was empty in the HeadQuarters, He seemed confused " Hmm... I wonder where they are..? " thinks if they took the job without him, He sighed and went to the chilling room, Gernado looked around to if there were extra clothes in the closet, And yes there are extra clothes " Ah! finally, clothes " He grabbed the extra clothes and went on changing, After a few mins his finally done changing, Now his gonna need to drive the van to see what was going on, He grabbed the keys and went outside, He heard quacks, He was frightened and looked around, all he saw is an alt. duck which is friendly, " Quack quack! " " A duck in the woods!? how did that get here!? " He looks at the duck in confusion, The duck came close to him and jumps, " Uhh... What? " The duck kept jumping, it seems it wants to be picked up, Gernado finally gets it and picked up the duck, " Huh... I wonder why the duck wants to come with me but... I hope it doesn't die too... " He still remembers that time when his sister was killed, The duck seems he doesn't wanna let him be upset, The duck starts quacking, Gernado should probably go in the van before something happens, " Woah alright... " Gernado immediately hops in the van and starts the engine, While driving, The duck kept making noises and Gernado was trying not to get distracted by driving but was annoyed at it, 4 mins later the duck became silent, Gernado tries to contact the other BPS members but there was no signal, " GODDAMIT! No signal!? Cmon! " He was pissed off, Otherwise the duck tried to hold its laughter because doesn't wanna let him know that the duck is an alternate, Gernado looked at the duck suspiciously..., " ..Gonna keep an eye on ya Lil dude... " The duck looks scared and just sits down, Gernado continues to focus on driving.

Back to this Chapter:

" Auugghhh... I don't think I'll know where I'm going " The duck suddenly was disappointed with him, Gernado kept driving until he hears a little girl crying noise, He was surprised that there was a kid, So he jumped off the van, " Don't worry, I'll be back, I've heard some noises... " The Duck seems to hear the noise too and sits down, Gernado walked to the hallways to see where the noises are coming from, He encountered the alternate approaching a little girl who was holding a chainsaw, she looks scared of it, Gernado immediately pull out the gun and shoots the alternate. " EEEEKKK!!!!! " "Shhhh! You'll make the alternates hear us! Come on! " Gernado grabbed the little girl's hand and went rushed into the van, Luckily they went in the van, The duck seems confused and went stared at the little girl, Gernado starts the engine, " Soo... What's your name..? "  Gernado asked the little girl, The little girl was a Lil nervous to tell her name but says her name, " ....K-k-k-kowai... " Her name was Kowai, Gernado welcomes Kowai to the van, The duck sits on Kowai's lap even though it made Kowai scared but Gernado said the duck won't harm, so there was no need to worry about that, Kowai calmed down and patted the duck, the duck was comfortable about that pats, " Okay kiddo, once we've returned to the HQ, you can rest there, even though it's just no one is there... " Kowai nods and gets comfortable in this van. Once they arrived at the BPS HQ, They go inside. " Alright kiddo, get comfortable " Gernado gave the Octopus plush to Kowai, She was easily pleased and grabbed the Octopus plush, Gernado fed the duck with duck food, Gernado got a call from Sarah Heathcliff and answer the call.

" Oh, hey Sarah. "

" Gernado, I'm so glad that you're alright but... "

" But.. what? '

" Jonah has banished "

" Wait.. you mean...? "

" Yeah, that's what I mean... plus we have some situation to take care "

" Oh, I'll be right there. "

" Meet me at ### ### #### "

" Alright. "

The call hangup, Gernado thinks who will take care of Kowai and the duck, He had an idea of who can exactly take care of them, After an hour someone has finally arrived. " Thanks for agreeing to take care of them, Gabriel " " It's no pleasure dude! " Gernado leaves the BPS HQ, Kowai looks at Gabriel curiously, Gabriel looks at Kowai and greets her politely, " Hello! My name is Gabriel Fernandez but you can call me Gabes for short, I heard you're Kowai right? " Kowai nods after hearing that, Gabriel starts taking care of Kowai and the duck while Gernado is working on his shift,  Meanwhile Sarah Heathcliff wonders if Grace and Mark was alright because the situation could get worse, Gernado has finally arrived on time and they went to the investigation together, [ Honestly... I never had the motivation to do the investigation thing because I didn't even plan what would the investigation look like... So I apologize for that. ]  Meanwhile Gabriel, Kowai, and the duck are having a good time at the BPS HQ, Kowai wanted to ask something but was scared to ask, The Duck bites Gabriel's shoe, Gabriel was surprised and looked down at Duck was biting, " Ah!? My shoes! " Gabriel was panicking about his shoes and the Duck looks like it was about to speak something, Kowai was shocked when witnessing that, " EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! " And there you go, Chaos on this household without Gernado.
