Welcome To Jurassic World - Part 3

Yasmina's POV - 

Stupid Bumpy was screeching as loud as she could and called the glowing dinosaurs towards us! They started pushing Sammy and Darius' boat into ours and started surrounding as all. 

I tried to get them away by waving my paddle. Ben hugged Bumpy close and closed his eyes.

Suddenly, the dinosaurs bellowed and swam away from us. 

"Uh, cool kids to nerds, where are you?" Kenji shouted, looking around. 

"Over here!" waved Darius. "I think something scared the Parasaurolophuses."

"Darius, if we stopped paddling, why are we still moving forward? Sammy asked loudly.

We were all moving towards a different tunnel because of the current. I kept trying to paddle backwards, and even Ben was paddling now.

I almost grabbed Ben in fear, but I caught myself before that. I wasn't going to hug a boy I just met.
Our paddling  wasn't enough. We all went right through and dropped from high above, screaming.

Ben's POV - 

We twisted through different tunnels until we finally reached outside, the sunlight temporarily blinding us. 

I looked around, seeing all the mud on my arms, "We're okay. We're okay." I said happily, clutching Bumpy.

I remembered that Yasmina was behind us and immediately felt guilty about our little argument earlier. 

Kenji interrupted by thoughts by gasping loudly, "Why did you gasp? It didn't sound like a good gasp!" I whimpered. 

"'Cause I know exactly where we are, guys." Kenji's voice shook. "We're in the Jurassic World Lagoon. And so is the Mosasaurus."

Gazing at where we were I assumed that the Mosasaurus was some  kind of giant fish dinosaur that's gonna try and eat us. I whimpered in fear.

Somewhere beneath us, a low growl came to our ears. I peered over the edge of the kayak, into the blackened waters below. Darius yelped and looked right. I saw a part of the Mosasaur's sharp tail flicking up through the surface of the water.
It began to go in circles around us, the top of it's back poking out of the water. clearly visible.

"It's circling, testing us. It's acting like a shark." Brooklynn's voice monotone. "We're intruders in its domain, so it's investigating us. Before it gets confident, decides to... to-" Brooklynn's voice faltered. She didn't want to say it. We'll get eaten.

The Mosasaurus snarled and Bumpy squealed.
"We have to get out. Now!" Kenji yelled.
"There's a ladder by the spectator stands!" Darius replied, pointing at the grey iron ladder.

The Mosasaurus was right below us, it's sharp tail flicking under our kayaks.
"Paddle! Go, go, go!" Darius screamed and we all paddled as fast as we could.

"This is not how Kenji wanted to go out!" Kenji exclaimed, not looking backwards. 
"This isn't on my to-do list either!" Yasmina snapped back. 

At least I will hear Yasmina's voice one more time- Wait. We won't die! I think. The Mosasaurus was right next to us. Yasmina yelled as it's tail dived back into the water. 

Kenji and Brooklynn made it to the other side, panting. I paddled hard, wanting to live and not wanting to see the inside of the giant fish's mouth. "No." I heard Yasmina whisper and she moved the kayak to the right.

"Yaz, what are you doing?" I asked but then caught myself. I had never called Yasmina, 'Yaz' and I could feel my face slowly go pink. "Whatever you do, don't stop paddling!" She shouted. She hopped onto the tall tower she stopped the kayak at and pushed the kayak further to the ladder.

"Yasmina!-" I started. 
"Just keep paddling!" She cried.
I did as I was told. I got to the ladder and pulled Bumpy up with great effort. 

Yasmina's POV - 

Sammy and Darius won't make it if I don't help them. The Mosasaurus was nearly directly underneath them. I still had my paddle in my hand, so I hit the pillar, and screeched.

"Hey! Hey! Over here! HEY!"

The Mosasaurus stopped and turned to face me. Sammy and Darius were able to make it out of the water safely! 

I laughed with happiness and I saw Brooklynn, Kenji and Ben all cheering. Ben made it to safety, I thought smiling. 

I was beaming until the giant fish dinosaur came swimming towards me, it's razor teeth bared.

"I did not think this through..."
