prologue ♡

you and i would always hang out in our treehouse that my dad built just for the two of us as kids.

we would play dolls, tell each other secrets, and joke with each other..

" i'm bored. "
sabi niya.

" hmm.. labas tayo? "
i replied.

" sure! "

it was already turning dusk, we caught a glimpse of the fading sunset. the soft breeze kissed our skins. i followed you as you ran into the tall grass.

" hoi na-yun! look, oh! i found a rose! kasing ganda mo. "

you told me in the middle of the tall grass. i could feel all the butterflies fluttering, and i'll tell you what, there were no butterflies in the tall grass at all.

you'd also always go to our house right immediately after our classes in elementary.

we'd always watch our favorite show when you arrive at our house.
