Reason for Marriage : Varian had met Wilma when he was 13 and she was 12 . With her father having stakes in a profitable trading company , the two were married at 14 and 13 years old

Backstory : Varian was born May 23rd , 1872 in Scotland to a noble woman that was dying and knew her family would kill her son if they got thier hands on him . So she gave him to Rachel to adopt and raise as her own son . Growing up , Varian learned many things but at 3 years old , he was excited to have become a big brother . Growing up , the brothers were very close and did everything together . By 14 years old , Varian still lived at home with his family and his new wife . One day in 1885 , Varian and Wilma were preparing for Ceil's birthday when a fire broke out. The two evacuated along with the staff but Varian went back inside when he realized his brother was still inside . Unfortunately , Varian was too late as Ceil was kidnapped and taken away . For almost 2 months , he assumed his brother was dead until they were reunited . Tragedy would strike again in April of 1886 . Wilma died during childbirth at 15 years old after giving birth to her daughter Barbra . Varian focused all his efforts into raising his daughter and brother along with running the family business .
