Oh. My. God. MDC was coming to the Wayne Charity Gala. And she was donating three, three signature, handmade, designer dresses to a shelter for women looking for jobs. Me and Dick were practically bouncing off the walls and Tim was reserved in a more quiet excitement but excited none the less. MDC was more than hard to commission, high prices, and they take a long time because every dress, suit, and shirt is made by scratch, and by hand. I saw Alfred out of the corner of my eye a hint of amusement in his eyes as he watched us freak out. I could also see Damien with a mix between annoyance and anger on his face. Bruce had managed to commission MDC once, and had to wait months for the shipping overseas and the handmade quality but in the end was worth it. It was a beautiful black and navy pinstripe suit and even had a gold handkerchief as an accent. On this handkerchief was a beautifully embroidered logo. A calligraphic M with a flourish a beautiful D curling around the flourish with a C curling in the loops of the D with an amazing finish. There were also five flowers in a swirled pattern on the pocket inside the suit jacket and the same logo, I'm guessing it her brand. Almost no one saw anything other than her initials and knew almost nothing except she live.d in Paris, France. What I wouldn't give to go to her studio. It was a fact that while working she had hand-made drapes covering the windows and if those were ever raised except past noon she would be wearing a beautiful filigree black a gold mask, the black silk with a gold border and painted gold swirls and flowers, the mask alone was famous, MDC wearing it, even more so.

The night of the gala we were al dressed in our finest suits Bruce in his MDC original (lucky). When we arrived the cameras were already pointed down waiting for someone else. And then we realized who because directly behind us MDC arrived a black Mercedes' Benz gold floral accents along the doors. Soon all cameras were up and flashing questions shouted. She was breathtaking. Her red silk ballgown with a few silver sequins layers of tulle fanning out in a way that looked as if it were snow from the knee length red fabric. Everyone was awed by her beauty with her bold black eyeliner swirls of gold fanning from it the neutral eyeshadow and scarlet lipstick she was stunning. And apparently Baby Bird thought so too as he gasped cue blackmail material.

I had seen the Wayne's exit their limo from the dark tinted windows of my black and gold accented Mercedes'. I smirked and swung the door open eyes slightly blinded by the camera flashes pointed my way, but it was nothing I wasn't used to. I smiled brightly and heard someone in the large family ahead of me gasp, my scarlet painted lips smiled (more like smirked) even more. My black and gold accented heels clicked against the pavement the sound muffled as I reached the red carpet. My hips swung from the left to the right as I waved and smiled letting cameras get a few good shots. There was one boy around eighteen, my age, who was really cute with a mix between emerald and forest green eyes his black suit and green handkerchief complimenting them perfectly. I winked at him as I passed and heard his brothers and him gasp in surprise and saw Boy Wonder blush. That's what I would call his, seemed fitting, he is a Wayne. I threw the double doors open and sashayed into the room my heels clicking against the floor as the room went pin-drop silent. This was the first time ever MDC was seen besides at her desk in the studio which was also rare. People were awestruck expecting me not to arrive. I smiled again and a few people turned away and I turned to the bar getting a sparkling water. The disadvantages of being almost eighteen is you can't drink when you need to.

"Whiskey, on the rocks," a male voice said to my right and I turned seeing the Wayne with odd white streaks in his hair. "Oh my god. You're MDC!"

"That would be me yes."

"Can I get a commission? My name's Jason Todd!"

"I'll see what I can do," I said smiling. "So you're part of the family who's entrance I interrupted?"

"Yeah," he said, a,most hesitantly like it was question. I gave him a half smile. "Baby bird seemed to find you hot though."

I coughed. "What?!"

"My little bro Damien," he clarified. "He likes you."

I let out some more coughs and turned across the room and subtly pointed at him.

"Well," I said voice smooth and calming. "Looks like I have to dance."

Jason looked at me in shock as I walked away to the table his brother (Damien?) sat at. I smiled as I approached and a few other party members gathered not expecting the reclusive MDC to talk to someone.

"So your the new Wayne," I said my voice saying it like a question. "What? Your reclusive, hate talking to people, let's we here. Oh I got it! I got the word, anti-social! English isn't my first language I'm sorry."

"It's ok," he told me though it held a question to it, saying 'What do you want,'. "Well Baby Bird, as your brother calls you. Let's we if you can dance."

I dragged him by the wrist heels clacking violently on the floor as orchestra music started to play. I placed one of his hands on my hip one of my hads on his shoulder and in twined the other hand with his. I half smiled at his and we danced, people watched lil;e it was mesmerizing as we twirled and stepped on the elevated platform for dancing. Looks like some good came out of this gala after all.

||So, I updated, and sooner than I thought! So I hope you enjoyed again it was fluff, just not relationship. Love you guys! Vote and comment though, it keeps me motivated.||
