Damien, normally, never chased spandex-clad girls across rooftops. Girls being operative, not a woman, not a known thief. Brand new, shown up out of no where. An especially weird thief at that, the girl was wearing a pastel purple and deep red spandex bodysuit with, what seemed to be, claws on both hands. God, a tiger theme- really?! We really don't need anymore animal themed rouges running around.

"STOP!" I shouted as loudly as I could and the thief turned around an amused smirk on her face.

"And when has that ever stopped anyone?" She asked coyly continuing to run across the Gotham rooftops.

I huffed in clear annoyance as my mongrels of brothers laughed and snickered over comms. It wasn't even that funny! Sighing I continued the pursuit, the tiger thief looking back occasionally with a grin and an increase in speed. For once I was thankful for the speed training in the League. The comms had gone silent but I could hear the revving of engines through my ears as -I assumed- my brothers joined the chase.

"Come and catch me Birdie Boy!" She taunted twirling through the air and running backwards.

I scoffed as both my brothers and the assailant laughed. "How about you stop, imbecile!"

"I'm no imbecile, you however...?"  Cue my laughing brothers- yet again.

'She got you good baby bird, she's a smart one!' Jason called through the comm link. That got agreements from everyone.

'Careful Lil'D you might fall.' Dick teased through the devices.

"I won't mongrels!" I practically hissed in anger. I heard a snicker from only barely ahead. The thief had slipped, shed slowed down. Perfect opportunity.

She was increasingly growing slower. I smirked in victory- she had burned up all her energy. Even more proof suck and inexperienced thief shouldn't be messing around in Gotham.  Soon we were sure by side and her face was turned away.

"Stop!" I called again over the wind. She just turned her head to me a victorious, smug smile stretching wide across her pale cheeks.

"No." She said cooly back, leaning so close she could speak in a normal voice. "I told you that never stopped anyone." Before I could even scoff she zipped ahead leaping to the next rooftop with a graceful spin to smirk at me.

Seemingly as soon as I touched on the next building... she was gone. Disappeared.

"UGH!" I shouted in annoyance throwing my hand out in either direction spinning around to view everywhere. "She's gone." I groaned into the comms.

'Gone?" Todd asked. I scoffed.

"Yes! She got away!"

'Well find her!" Father growled through the link.

"Yes Father." I answered monotonously. Scanning the shadowed rooftop once more I ran ahead to search on a possible path.

"Boo birdie." A voice whispered in my ear. Her. "What? Given up the chase already." I scowled and turned to see her pouting innocently. It was kind of cute- I glared and held out one hand as if approaching a scared animal. She raised an eyebrow under her purple and red mask.

"You're coming with us." I said calmly,  with a hint of annoyance, as I continued my slow approach. She looked at my hand then raised one of her own, moonlight glinting off of the metallic material of her claws. "Surrender and put your hands up, don't make this harder than it already is." She smirked.
