Liam's POV

"What?" She asked, puzzled.

"Don't try to hide. I know you are pregnant. I saw the pregnancy in your drawer and heard you talking to my mother's secretary about the obstetrician appointment." I stated, irritated.

"I am not pregnant, Liam." She sighed, ruffling her hair.

"What?" I mumbled, dumbfounded.

"It is Vivienne who is pregnant with her second child."

"My mother's secretary?" I asked in confusion.

"Yes. They didn't plan it. So she was nervous." Aurora explained. "She didn't know if she would keep it or not. So she asked me not to tell anyone."

'Oh..." I mumbled, embarrassed. "I... I am sorry."

Aurora heaved a loud sigh. "Now I understand why you have acted overprotective towards me the last few days." I bit my lower lip uneasily, averting my gaze. "So now at least I know that you wouldn't freak out and disappear if you knock me up." She added, amused and gave me a mischievous smirk.

"Aurora!" I scowled and started the car, feeling totally embarrassed.

I breathed deeply, trying to calm down while holding two bouquets of white and red roses, and knocked on the door. This evening I was going to meet Aurora's mother officially as her daughter's boyfriend. Finally, I managed to convince Aurora to tell her mother about our relationship.

I gave Aurora a wide smile as she opened the door and extended the bouquet of red roses to her. She thanked me, giving me a dazzling smile, and let me in.

"Mom is upstairs." She informed me and invited me to the living room.

I nodded and looked around while being nervous. There were a few frames hanging on the wall: Aurora's parents wedding photos, her childhood photos with her parents alone, her photo with a little boy who was probably her brother, and her photo with her mother and brother.

The little boy looked familiar, but I didn't remember where I saw him. Maybe, I thought I knew him because his smile reminded me of Aurora's smile. However, the boy had blue eyes which were different from his parents and Aurora. All of three had brown eyes.

"Mommy mommy, the guest is here." A little boy shouted cheerfully and walked downstairs. He was probably three or four years old. "Hello." He gave me a cheeky smile as he approached me.

"Hi." I smiled warmly as I bent down beside him. "My name is Liam." I introduced myself while Aurora was caressing little boy's hair tenderly.

"I know you. I heard when Mommy talked about you." The boy said firmly. I chuckled, amused. "I am Luke. Let's be friends."

I grinned, amused and nodded. "Fine. I would like to be a friend with a cute boy like you." I commented and pinched his cheek slightly.

"Luke, go and wash your hands. Dinner will be ready soon." Aurora told her brother softly. The boy nodded and rushed away.

"He..."

"Good evening." Aurora's mother greeted me, interrupting me as she went downstairs.

"Good evening, Mrs. Harris."

"Just call me Gabriella." She gave me a warm smile as she approached me.

"Fine, Gabriella. Nice to see you again." I said politely and extended the bouquet of white roses towards her.

"Thank you for the flowers. They are beautiful." Gabriella said warmly as she took the flowers. Then she traveled her gaze from me to Aurora and asked her daughter. "Where is Luke?"
