Liam's POV

"Who brought me here?" I asked, rubbing the back of my neck in embarrassment.

He raised his eyebrow and sighed, shaking his head. "You shouldn't have to drink that much. You don't even know who brought you here. If something bad happened to you in that state?" My father commented firmly, resting his hand in his pocket.

I sighed and mumbled, averting my gaze. "I am sorry."

"I brought you here." He informed me.

"What? How did you find where I was?" I asked, puzzled.

"Fortunately, when I called you, a bartender picked it up and told me you fell asleep at the nightclub. So I went there and picked you up. Then I brought you here." He replied calmly as he sat down beside me on the bed.

"I am sorry, Dad." I said, embarrassed and rubbed the back of my neck.

My father breathed deeply and gave me a tender look. "Do you know that you look like me more than Troy?" He commented warmly. I looked at him, surprised. "Because of it, I try to protect you more than your brother. He took after his mother. He is always calm, disciplined, patient and responsible. A person who doesn't get in trouble easily, but you..." He paused, looking at me nostalgically. "You remind me of myself when I was young. You are a stubborn, hot-headed troublemaker like me. I was always so afraid you would make the same mistakes like me." He confessed honestly.

"Dad, I..."

"You were never disappointment for me." He stated softly, cutting me off. "I love my children equally. You are my precious gifts, and I will do everything to protect you. And even if I sometimes get angry at you, you can count on me, and I will always have your back. Don't forget it." He added, giving me an affectionate look, and rested his hand on my shoulder.

"Thank you, Dad." I gave him a grateful look.

He smiled at me tenderly and hugged me, tapping on my back gently. "Bring my grandson and Aurora for dinner."

"Fine, I will." I nodded, smiling happily as he pulled back.

"Take shower and come downstairs. Let's have breakfast together." My father said warmly as he stood up. I nodded, feeling relieved and happy.

After taking a shower, I put on my clothes and went downstairs. I greeted my mother with a kiss on her cheek. My father wasn't here. When I asked where he was, my mother told me that he was talking on the phone in his study room and would be here in a few minutes.

"Mom, thank you so much." I gave my mother a grateful smile.

"For what?" She asked, giving me a questioning look.

"For helping Aurora. She told me everything. If you didn't help her, it would have been so hard for her. And thank to you, we met again. If you didn't hire her, I wouldn't know we have a son and find true love." I remarked honestly.

"I did what I felt right, Liam. Moreover, I am glad I saw my grandson growing up." She said softly.

"I should have had to be beside her and support her, but I was having fun while she got through all of it on her own." I commented regretfully.

"Liam... Be easy on yourself." My mother cupped my cheek, giving me a sympathetic look. "You didn't know anything." He added, caressing my cheek affectionately.

"All of this was because of my recklessness. I acted as a real asshole, just thinking of my own pleasure. If I couldn't get caught in the moment and forget to use protection, she wouldn't get through all of it alone." I confessed in guilt.
