A hooded figure sneaked into the castle grounds, holding injured his arm. Isabelle's honour guard spotted him. "Stop!" Leon unsheathed his sword. "Show yourself."

The boy lowered his hood. Isabelle walked towards him. "Oh, he's just a boy."

"Out here in the middle of the night?" Leon asked.

"There's no need for your sword." Isabelle replied. The boy crouched before her. "Come." She reached out to him to help him rise to his feet and the boy stood up. "Where are you going?"

"Been catching frogs." The boy replied.

Leon raised an eyebrow. "Frogs?"

"It's a full moon, Leon. We used to do it." Isabelle replied to him as then she looked at the boy. "Come on, you should be in bed. Off you go."

The boy bowed. "Thank you, my lady."

Isabelle entered, removing her cloak and draping it over the back of a chair. She saw Arthur and Merlin arranging garlands around the bed. "Oh, Arthur, that is so sweet. You've gone to all this trouble. And Lilly flowers, my favourite. You remembered." She put her arms around his neck.

"Mm-hmm." Arthur hummed.

"Have you missed me?" Isabelle asked.

"Hmm." Arthur stopped, looking up at Merlin. "Merlin, er, it's late. You should probably get some sleep."

Merlin walked toward the door. "Thank you, Sire."

"Oh, Merlin. Before you go, I'd love a hot bath." Isabelle told him. She squealed and giggled as Arthur sweeps her up in his arms.

"Certainly, my lady." Merlin leaves and Arthur carried Isabelle to the bed.

The next morning, Merlin was gathering supplies and food for the short journey. Ava was helping him. Then, Gaius walked up to them. "You don't even know who this boy is."

"He's a druid." Merlin told them.

"He broke into the castle like a thief." Gaius countered.

Then, Ava looked at him. "I'm a druid."

"How else was he going to reach me?" Merlin added.

"The journey to the Valley of the Fallen Kings, Merlin, it's a den of murderers, cutthroats." Gaius replied. Then, he looked at Ava. "I know that, not everyone break into to the castle. And you walked up to Lady Isabelle."

"That indeed." Ava nodded.

"It is dangerous." Merlin added.

"It's a long way north of dangerous." Gaius told him. "Think of your child." He pointed at Ava, she had their child in a wrapped in cloth around her.

Merlin glanced at her. "What am I supposed to do? Let this girl die?"

Gaius sighed, but understand it. "The journey there and back is going to take you the best part of the day. How are you going to keep it from Arthur?"

"I'm sure you'll think of something." Merlin replied to him, but glanced at Ava.

"Me?!" Gaius shrieked.

"Sarrum of Amata is arriving today. Arthur'll be too busy to notice where I am." Merlin replied.

"Merlin." Gaius sighed.

Merlin looked at him. "I promised the boy and I can't go back on it now. I'll be back by nightfall."

"I know." Ava comment as then they kissed. Then, Merlin exited and walked right through the front gate unnoticed.
