chapter one

Anisa's Pov

   Arrrrghhhh,I groan at the sound of my alarm and turn the side closing my entire face with the duvet, just then I heard a knock on the door~

Hi my name is hauwa but my family and friends call me anisa. I live with my parents, my little annoying sister and my overprotective but loving brother

I am currently in my last year of uni studying fashion designing but also work as a model for some big textile companies.

~I glanced at the door muttering a faint "come in" and yawning at the same time. My eyes still closed and under the duvet, I hear the sound of the door open and shut as I felt the bed deepened a little

'Yaya pls just 5 minutes and I will be up' I say in my sleepy voice knowing fully well that it's only my brother that knocks before entering my room

Incase you haven't noticed yaya is my best friend ever and I love him the most in the house mostly because of how protective he is of both me and eysha. He won't say it but I know he loves me more

'Anisa, that's wat u said 10 mins ago besides you have a shoot in less than an hour'

"WHAT!!!", i shrieked ignoring his oddly calm demeanor. 'why didn't u tell me abt the shoot sooner', I panicked jumping out of bed and immediately into the bathroom

After am done with my daily routine, I get in my closet looking for something simple to wear and i just go with a layered baby pink abaya plus a matching veil

I don't do any makeup cus that will be done by the makeup artist in the studio.
I walk majestically downstairs, my panic from 2mins completely gone 
 

Assalamualaikum everyone  I said running towards mum and giving her a very big good morning kiss which she returned with a smile. I didn't see dad so i assumed he left for work already

My dad owns one of the biggest oil company in abuja and Kaduna so he is always busy and travels alot but makes time for us all which is why I admire him.

'The queen is here' I heard eysha say under her breath. "Awwwn sissy am just the princess but u are the queen" , I said given her a big kiss on the cheek ,I saw her stifling a smile as i giggled at her cuteness.

'Anisa let's go or you'll be late', yaya says grabbing his keys. 'What but yaya i haven't even eaten fa, I say settling down to eat. "Because I'm even dropping u today u want to waste my time ko"

"The only reason your dropping me is because you want to see Hafsah" I say wiggling my eyebrows while eysha echoed some awwwn's.i would have joined her if yaya hadn't covered my mouth with his big hands

Mama just shook her head and headed to the kitchen with a little smile dangling on her lips muttering 'this children will be the death of me'

Hafsa is one of my best friends and also yaya's fiancee. Even though its weird having my best friend dating my brother I just feel happy seeing yaya happy ,and ofcourse Abba and Mama know abt this and just wants them to get married after yaya is fully settled.

"Fine i'll buy you a smoothie and sandwich on our way....HAPPY"
'Very' I replied with a huge smile on my face.

We finally reached the studios and I was abt to walk out the door when yaya stopped me "yes yaya" I turned and saw him looking all nervous 'can you....umm....can you inform hafsa that am outside " he said looking away 'relax yaya I'll tell her' I assured him

I walked into the studios and i see Miss Fure pacing around trying to get the  set ready . She stopped as she saw me and released a sigh of relief "Anisa, where have you been I've been trying to contact you"

'Actually...I...I.. 'I couldn't complete my sentence when she pushed me to makeup room and handed me the dress to where 'I'll be back in 10, you best be ready' she said getting all pissed

Miss fure is a very nice person and a good boss at that, she just has too many responsibilities and is under alot of stress. She owns a boutique with while I model some of her designs

"Anisaaaaaa", I heard someone screaming from behind me but before I could turn to see who it was I felt a creature ontop of me making me to loose my balance and fall to the ground  with a thud."Ouch!!" i muttered rubbing my elbows.

I quickly push the person off me to see it was just hafsa "OMG, hafsa I missed you soo much "I said hugging the life of her. Just then I remembered that yaya is waiting for her outside

Hafsa!!!, I totally forgot yaya u....ya....ya....he..umm....I say in broken words trying to catch my breath. "Breath,ok relax just chill..."hafsa says trying to help me do the same "now say wat u wanna say".

'Yaya has been outside waiting for u for a while now, he told me to tell u but then miss fure came and then u came and I totally forgot I'm sorry' I said all in one go.

'Omg Ahmad is outside really outside ok ok ok ummm I'll be back in a few' she running to the door all happy. "No you won't " i replied to her knowing how they get when they see each other "

I quickly finished my makeup and put one the dress before the photographer arrives on set

I vouched for hafsa as she texted saying  yaya wanted to take her out so he could apologise. I was amazed yaya didn't tell me abt this plan probably means it was a last minute decision

Anyways I post some of my pictures on Instagram (not to brag but I've upto 100k followers on ig and 97k on tiktok)

I had to take a cab home cus my brother and bestie ditched me, how nice and comforting right?

I call for a cab only for a Mercedes to pull over at my front. I don't think I need einstein to tell me that this ain't no freaking cab.

I was abt to walk away when the front window started winding down and.....Aaaaaaaah
