Chaoter 4

Amaya's pov

Ughhh I can't believe Eve! Like...she knows I have a crush on Rolando but we all know that probably won't happen. *sigh* but...what if it did? 😳. *mental slap* I swear Eve is rubbing off on me.

As I walk into my math class I accidentally bump into Espher, my next door neighbor, "oh! Hey, Amaya! Didn't see you there", Espher says, reaching out his hand to help me up. "It's not a problem", I respond, getting back up. "So my mom was thinking about inviting your family over to my house for dinner tonight. Can you ask your parents if they're able to come?", Espher says as he scratches his head.

"Yeah sure!", I answer, Espher's family is famous in our neighborhood for their delicious food since his mom is a renowned chef who used to compete in cooking competitions. Whenever they hold barbecues, I can tell you that everyone shows up.

*ring* *ring*

I sit down in my seat and wait for the teacher to start a new math lesson. "Psst!", I look around and see Rolando staring at me and pointing at something. I swear my heart stops beating for a few seconds, he just looks so dreamy and hot. "Psst, hey, can you hear me? I asked if you could get my eraser.", I hear Rolando say quietly.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry, wait a second!", I say ,reaching downward for the eraser on the ground. "Here I got it.", I say , handing it to Rolando, while smiling brightly. "Thanks I guess...", Rolando says, taking the eraser and looking away.

Espher pov

I looked around the classroom and spotted Amaya and Rolando...TALKING?! Wow, that's crazy. I stared away and just started to fall asleep. I was tired, okay?! Plus watching Amaya and Rolando talk is hopeless, like if you two have feelings for eachother then just say it!

I swear their love is hopeless! But then again, it would be funny to see them fall in love. Since it would be a pretty cute couple. Man, they would hate me so much if they could hear this, heh, I guess it's a good reason that they can't.

Okay, okay, okay i should probably stop now because Rolando is staring daggers into me right now and I'd rather live.

[after class]

"Oohhhh Maya!", I say , stretching my words out. "Oh hey Espher!", Maya says, "So, did ya text your parents?", I ask. "Huh? Oh! Yeah, I asked and they said they're coming!", Maya says confidently. "Okay then! Well now that that's done, I have gotta ask! What was talking with Rolando like?", I asked, while looking at her with a very mischievous expression.

Within seconds Maya's whole face turns bright red and she turns away to face the wall. "What do you- what do you mean?", she says nervously. "Oh come on! We all know that you have a crush on him, just spill the tea!", I say, trying to convince her to tell me. "How-how about next t-time!", I hear Maya say before watching her run off to Eve and Anna.

Heh hehahahaha! OMG SHE'S IN LOVE! I never thought I'd see the day!
