Rani and Kiara jumped for joy. They can't believe they get to live together!
"What do you want to do?" Kiara asked. "Not sure," Rani replied. "How about stop screaming," Kion groaned. Rani growled at him.
Kion growled back and walked away. Rani turned back to Kiara. "C'mon, let's go!" Kiara said. Rani and Kiara ran off.
Kion walked back to Priderock, and sat on the ledge. He overlooked the Pridelands. Kovu walked up to him.

(Kovu 13, Kovu means, "Scar" Kovu isn't mates with Kiara)
"Hey Kion you alright?" Kovu asked. "Yeah I'm fine," Kion replied. Kovu sat next to him. "Are you sure?" Kovu asked. Kion sighed, "Ok, not really. I didn't want Rani to stay. She's always a jerk, and never is nice to me," Kion explained.
"Hmm, why don't you talk to her about it?" Kovu asked. Kion scoffed. "C'mon Kion, I can tell you have a crush on her," Kovu chuckled and nudged him.
"Fine, I do, but she had made it very clear she doesn't like me," Kion sighed. "Just talk to her, maybe you could get on her good side?" Kovu suggested.
Kion thought about it, "Alright, I'll try it." "Ok, let me know how it goes," Kovu smiled. He stood up and walked away.
Kion went back to looking over the Pridelands. Kion stood up, and went to Rani.
Rani and Kiara parted. Kiara got tired, so she went to bed. Rani was drinking at the watering hole.
Rani got a males scent. She turned around and saw Kion. She growled. "Hi Rani," Kion smiled. Rani was confused. She sat down. "I was wondering if you'd want to, take a walk sometime?" Kion asked kind of nervous.
Rani didn't want a mate, and didn't want to be Kion's friend, at all. "NO!" She shouted. She tried to walk away, but Kion stopped her.
"Get out of my way!" Rani growled. Kion didn't. Rani hit him across the face, claws extended. Kion fell to the ground. Kion felt something dripping down his face.
He stood up, and looked at Rani. Rani gasped. Kion felt immense pain by his left eye. He touched it with his paw, but when he looked at his paw, he saw blood.
Rani stared at Kion, with horror on her face. Kion looked at her with anger. "What did you do?" Kion asked aggressively. Rani couldn't answer. Kion walked past her, to the lake.
Kion stared in the water. "M-My face," Kion stampered. He looked at Rani and growled.

"Kion, I-Im so sorry," Rani backed away. Kion just pawed at his scar. There was still blood. He walked away, not saying anything to Rani.
Kion walked up Priderock. He could feel the blood dripping down his face.
Nala walked up to Kion. "Hey are you alright?" Nala asked. Kion lifted his head so she could see his face. Nala gasped. "Kion what happened!" Naka shouted. She ran up to him.
"I got clawed by a leopard," Kion lied. "Oh no, let's get you to Rafiki," Nala said leading her son away.
Rani just sat at the watering hole. She couldn't believe she did that. But then she remembered Kion tried to get with her. Rani no longer felt guilty.
