Chapter 4: Feelings

Kiara couldn't help but fall for Kovu. He was handsome, charming, and kind. But she and Rani had made a pact, yet Kiara just couldn't get Kovu off her mind.

"Hey Kiara!" Rani waved her paw infront of Kiara's face. "Huh!" Kiara jumped up in shock. "What's going on with you? You keep dazing out?" Rani asked. "N-Nothing," Kiara stampered, "I got to go." Kiara ran off.

Rani was confused. Kiara never acted like this before.

Kion and Kovu were at the watering hole. "Kovu, did you and Kiara hang out last night?" Kion asked. "Yeah, why?" Kovu asked. "I think my sister likes you," Kion replied.

"No, we are just friends," Kovu replied. "Oh really?" Kion raised an eyebrow. Kovu nodded. "So then why did she think you were going to 'do something else' when you pinned her down?" Kion smirked.

"How do you know about that!" Kovu asked in shock. "I followed Kiara out," Kion replied. "Oh," Kovu didn't really know what to say.

"She wants it Kovu," Kion smirked. "B-But i-im not r-ready," Kovu stampered. "I don't think any male has ever been ready," Kion chuckled.

"Ok, now what about you and Rani?" Kovu asked. "What do you mean?" Kion was confused. "Any, feelings, or anything else?" Kovu asked smirking.

Kion started laughing, "You really know how to make me laugh!" Kovu was confused. "Me and Rani aren't even friends. In fact, she hates me so much, she gave me this," Kion pointed to his scar.

"Oh jeez, nevermind," Kovu replied. "Ever since we met we never got along," Kion explained. "Wow thats weird," Kovu replied. Kion shrugged.

Kiara walked around looking for Kovu. She found him alone.

Kion and Kovu went their separate ways.

Kovu could sense someone behind him. He attacked. Kiara was under his paws. "Oh sorry Kiara," Kovu apologized. Kiara chuckled. "You're fine."

Kovu let Kiara up. "Kovu, I need to tell you something," Kiara said. Kovu raised an eyebrow. "I-I like you. A lot," Kiara admitted. Kovu smiled at her. "I like you to princess," He smirked. Kiara chuckled.

Rani was suspicious of Kiara, so she followed her. Rani found Kiara hanging out with Kovu. Rani gasped when she heard Kiara admit her feelings to Kovu. She growled and ran away.

As she was running, Rani crashed into Kion. "Hey watch it!" She growled. "Hey! This time it isn't my fault!" Kion growled. "You are still in my way!" Rani snarled.

"Whats gotten under your fur?" Kion asked. Rani just growled and ran past him. Kion shrugged and went to Priderock, following Rani.

Kiara and Kovu walked back to Priderock. Kovu was on night watch again. Kiara went into the den. She found Rani growling at her.

"Hi Rani," Kiara smiled. "How could you! You broke our promise! I thought you were my friend!" Rani cried. Kiara was confused for a second, then realized.

"Rani, I'm sorry, I couldn't take it. I love Kovu," Kiara said. Rani just sat there crying. Kiara hugged her. "I'm sorry Rani, but know this. You will always be my bestfriend," Kiara said.

Rani smiled slightly. She hugged Kiara. Rani went back to the lair.

Kion walked into the lair, and layed down on the ledge.

Rani walked into the lair. She saw Kion on his ledge. Rani stared at him. His golden fur, red mane and his muscles caught her attention. Rani had no idea what had gotten into her. She layed down in her corner, and went to sleep.
