It was getting pretty late, and you where just about to leave work. Since you worked so late today, you didn't know if Aidan would still be awake, so you didn't bother to text him and tell him you where gonna be home soon.
You felt too tired to even cook for yourself, so you figured you'd just head straight to bed when you arrived home.
When you got out of your car, arriving home, you noticed the kitchen lights where on, which they weren't usually on unless someone was cooking.
You walk into the house, and kick of your shoes, to be greeted by your boyfriend, Aidan. "Welcome home" he smiled as he pecked your forehead and hugged you.
"I didn't think you'd still be awake" you smile at him. "Oh really? I always wait for you to get home before I sleep you know that, also guess what." "Hm?" You said hugging and looking up at him. "I'm making dinner" he smiles at you, then pulling away and going back in the kitchen.
"Oh really? Awh your the best you didn't have to. I was gonna go to sleep when I got home" You said taking your stuff of, and going into the kitchen with him.
He knows you like when he cooks because he's very good at it.
"Go on and change into something more comfy okay?" He kisses the top of your head and signals you up to your shared bedroom.
After you got changed, and came back downstairs, dinner was ready, and the table was all set.
You looked at Aidan who had just set everything up, and finished washing his hands. You walk over to him and give him a big hug. "Thank you" you say looking up at him
"Of course beautiful" he stopped down a little and planted a kiss on your lips, then you both preceded to sit at the table to eat.
After you two where done eating, you both washed the dishes together. By the time you where done it was about 11:30 The two of you, very tired, go up to your shared room, and cuddle up with each other.
Before both of you falling asleep, he lays on his back, for you to put your head on his chest. As you do so, he lifts the back of your shirt and rubs your back. You smile and wrap an arm around him, as the two of you slowly fall asleep together.
