Javier's POV

I'm finally back! I can't believe I've been gone for almost a month, missing out on practice and my friends, Yuzuru and Nam.

As I was entering the rink, 5 minutes late as usual, I saw Brian standing at the doorway.

"Coach! Sorry I'm late!" I shouted while running towards him.

"Typical Javi! Now come on over so we could get started, I bet your body's stiff from all the breaks you've had." He teased.

"Hey, I was having a hard time trying to figure out if I should retire or not. But I decided not to." I said with a proud grin plastered on my face. He lightly punched my arm and I pretended to faint.

"You're still the idiot I know, Javi. C'mon, let's get you worked up." He lend me his hand and I stood up laughing with him. "Go warm up and we'll work on your quads."

"Yes Sir!" I saluted. "Where's Yuzu by the way?"

"Oh, he's up there talking to... What are they doing?" He said pointing up to the glass window where Yuzuru was hugging a girl.

"Looks like your son's having the time of his life again." I joked.

Man, this boy is such a lowkey flirt I'm jealous, kidding!

"Go practice, Javi. I'll go see what's going on there."

"Alright then.." And with that, he's off to that not so empty office. "Shina! Haven't seen you in a long time chika!"

Although I didn't know what happened between her and Yuzu, I still didn't find it weird talking to her. Jun-hwan on the other hand had been so distant to her, it's like he's been ignoring her for the past few months.

"Javi you're back!" Shina exclaimed jumping up and down on her toe picks. She came close to where I was and hugged me without any warning. "I've missed you so much! Where have you been?" She asked all excited while still embracing me.

"I just you know, took a break from all this." I said pointing to my now healed ankle. "And I've been thinking of retiring lately, but you amigos changed my mind. I miss skating with all of you."

"Why would you even take a break, you didn't even visit we thought you were gone for good." she pouted.

"Its confidential, I'm just glad I made it back here again. Where are the others?" Looking around the rink I saw Shina's best friend, Evgenia.

"Well look who we have here!" I said, loud enough for her to hear. "Evgenia!"

"Javi! Why'd you leave us?" She skated toward where I was standing and gave her an open arms signaling for her to hug me.

"Hey, unfair! You didn't even hug me back." Shina pouted again and I imitated her action then stuck my tongue out at her. She then rolled her eyes and skated away.

That brat.

We all love annoying her for fun.

"How have you been? What happened to you? We were so worried about you." Evgenia asked while pulling away from our brother and sister hug.

"Meh just took a break from everything, I was having a little mental breakdown and I didn't want to disturb any of you, so I just visited my family back home and took my time to appreciate everything I had."

"You're such a drama queen Javi."

"I know right." We both bursted out in laughter and caught everyone's attention with our goofy ass laugh.

"Anyways, you have us and we love you, so please don't leave us again." She crossed her arms and I ruffled her hair.

"Hey! You know I don't like it when you mess with my hair." She stated and proceeds to fix her hair.
