monday blues

Do I want to go to work? Absolutely not. I am not in the mood for anyone and especially work right not, but since I'm the CEO I have to set an example.

I groan loudly and pull the covers off of me and climb out of my oh so comfortable bed.

While yawning I picked my phone up and there where so many messages from Rose. Ugh, don't call me a bad person now, but I don't have time for her right now.

I know I abruptly put the phone down yesterday but I just don't like or rather I couldn't handle her pitying me. I just hate that feeling.

Anyway I got up and went to my bathroom, while brushing my teeth I thought about this whole situation with Kylian.

Like what's next? I don't know. I hate this uncertainty. Like hate, hate it.

And the wedding is in two days, fuck my life. I'm gonna have to face him.

And quite frankly I don't believe that I have to go up and talk to him, wasn't he the one on a date?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking ownership of Kylian, he can be with whoever he wants to, whenever.

But it did kinda hurt when Rose told me that, like a slap to my face, embarrassment at its finest.

I finished brushing my teeth and took a quick shower. This is what I'm wearing today because I am in no mood to go all out today, it's kinda cloudy outside I must say.

Sneakers for work? Yes. Besides I had no showings today, I'll just be in the office doing admin until twelve PM.

It's a lot of admin and work keeps my mind off of things, so that's good.

I glance at the time, nine AM, okay let's get going.

When I pulled up at the office and parked my car in front the building I pulled my phone out.

Rose was calling.

I sigh and slumped in my seat. After a few moments of staring at the phone ringing I sat up straight and answered.

"Hi" I greet as lifeless as possible because I have no energy right now. I take a coffee inside to drink and get some energy, because I need it, very much.

"Hey" Rose say, sounding like someone who is nervous.

"Why did you call?" I ask, just wanting to get to the point.

"Uhm..." she paused, "Rose what's going on?" I ask, "We have the Hammam day today" she say.

"Yes I know, I'll be there" I say, "Goodbye" I say and hung up.

Okay my loves, since Achraf is Morrocan, this culture has it's traditions and it's beautiful.

The Hammam is where Rose, as the bride invites all the female family, friends and neighbors then we have the Hammam, which is a public bath.

They rented out a place for us to have this ceremony.

Rose then gets washed with a type of clay, her body gets scrubbed, massaged, perfumed, waxed and all prepped for the wedding night.

Then on Tuesday we have all this parties going on, remember it's still a part of the traditions. Like the Morrocan Henna Party, etc.

Then on Wednesday we have the Morrocan wedding.

You may be asking are we only gonna do the Morrocan wedding or a traditional white wedding?

Well, both. Yes both.

Since it's two weddings, only the very most important people are invited to the Morrocan wedding. Then Thursday we have the white wedding. (I hope this is accurate and understandable)

I put my phone back in my pocket and climb out. Lock everything and in I went.

I greet all the ladies, but I could tell that they know that they have to stay out of my way.

I appreciate them for being able to read the room.

After I lock the door of my office, put my stuff down I went over to my own coffee station in my office.

I made a quick coffee and went over to my desk and sat down folding my legs and put it up on my chair. I pulled my laptop out and started sorting and working through everything.

When I looked up it was half past eleven and I had to get going since the place was a fifteen minute drive.

After packing all my stuff away, I went out of my office, "Bye ladies" I say softly and walked out of the door, after hearing them greeting me back.

I made my way to my car and to the venue. I packed an appropriate swimming piece in since there are gonna be some of Achraf's family members.

After arriving I saw everyone inside and already dressed, I waved at Rose and she waved back with the most gorgeous smile on her face.

I love that she's so happy and excited to be a part of her husbands culture.

During the bath, I could see Rose literally glowing because she looked so happy and carefree.

She looked stunning, I felt tears pooling in my eyes.

It's so rewarding to see your sister happy, she was purely happy and chuckled as the ladies put the clay on her skin, the ladies was so kind and lovely.

After everything was done, most of the ladies had gone home and it was probably past five now. I walked over to Rose where she was talking to a few of her friends.

I greeted everyone and asked if I could talk to her. I pulled her away and hugged her.

"You did well Rose" I say pulling back with tears in my eyes, she gave a little laugh also with tears in her eye, "Thank you for being here with me" she say wiping her tears.

She pulled me in for another hug and I could feel teardrops on my shoulder, then she says, "I truly am happy and I wish the same for you" smiling as she pulled back.

I nod, "Let's get out of here"I say collecting our stuff.

I didn't want to talk about Kylian and I know that was what she was insinuating but I wanted today, tomorrow and the wedding day to be all about her.

I didn't want her to even think about me at all, this days are all about her and Achraf and them only.

We said goodbye to everyone and made our way out.
