Chapter 2

I'm resting in my bed and I hear the door open. I see mom holding her arm and she looks like she's holding in some pain. I walk towards her and she says in a whisper, 'Diane, go to your room... Please...'. I can see that she's crying and she walks to the bathroom. I think I should wake up dad, but I don't want to. I guess i'll walk to bed. I jump onto my bed and begin to fall asleep. I can see mom wrap a bandage on her arm... Wait.... Is that blood!? Oh my gosh oh my gosh. I have to get dad! I run downstairs and mom shouts, 'Don't tell your dad! You know how he'll get!'. Dad walks to the kitchen to see mom's bloody arm. I see him run to her and mom faints. I stand there frozen. Is mom... Dead? I run over to the phone and I dial 911. Next then I know, I see an ambulance take mom away. I hug dad as he begins to cry. A cop comes over and asks him a bunch of questions. I then walk to the ambulance and dad grabs my hand. I can see he's crying so I stay.
