Daughter of a Princess

Chapter 1

I finish placing a bow on Fat Nuggets and I smile, 'So cute!!!'. I hear the door open I hear mom say 'Diane! We're home!'. I run downstairs and I hug my parents. My dad is holding a gun and has blood all over his face. My mom has blood on her face as well, I then say 'Were you two in the turf battle?'. 'You know your father.' Mom says looking at dad with a playful face. She then cleans the blood off his face and he blushes. I can feel somebody pushing my foot. I look down and see Fat Nuggets nudging my foot. Dad picks up Fat Nuggets and plays with him. I hear mom say 'Oh shoot, I gotta head back to headquarters, another drug cartel, see you guys later!' and rush out the door. I sigh sadly and dad walks up to me. 'It's your mom's job, blame that.', he sounds a little sad. I can read his mind so I know he fears that she'll be shot one day, or worse, killed. I can see tears in his eyes and he walks to the bathroom. Fat Nuggets comes up to me and nudges my face. I smile and he begins to tickle me on the foot. I laugh really loudly.
