I was sold

I born in this world surrounded by vampires. Through they and humans lived parted. Mainly they ruled all over the humans. They could get anyone anytime.

My life was nothing but a waist to my parents. They were both disgusted with me in their life. A alcoholic mother and a father who spent most of his time outside, my life was simply going.

It was my 17th birthday. I woke up as usual by hearing quarreling between my parents. Though I was so normal for me. Then I went to the washroom and freshen up myself. I went downstairs. My parents noticed me and they got silent.

Both looked at each other and then me. I signed because I knew they didn't even remember my birthday. It was not a big deal for me. But their confused look made me feel something bad in the air. After a bit of silence,

" Why are you guys looking at me like this?"

"There's something we need to told you.... We made a decision." Dad said.

" What's that?"

"We....we decided to sold.... you in the the slave market." My mom replied.

I was like fall from the sky. For few moments I forgot how to react at that time.

" WHAT?!.... What are you.... what are you saying?....how....how could you do that? .... How could you decided to sold me? In that.... among the vampires...."

Tears started falling from my eyes.

"Am I really your own child or you guys found me in the streets? I don't think anyone behave like this with their adopted child like you guys are behaving with me. You guys never loved me. Not even once. I never asked for anything. Then why!?"

"Bible....we love you. we did this for your own good. You know our situation right now." My mom said.

"You guys love me!!? Like... seriously!... You sold me in the vampire slave market and still saying you love me? Don't you think it's a bit much? Today is my 17th birthday. I know you guys didn't even remember this day.

I never expect that. I didn't even turned 18. I didn't get a chance to prove myself if I can contribute in this family. At least you guys should give me some time."

"Don't argue anymore. We've already decided and they're gonna come at 10 am. Get ready." My dad said.

Every word felt like stabbed in my heart. I didn't argue anymore. I wasn't in the mood and they were not gonna listen to me. I went upstairs and buried my face in the pillow.

I looked at the clock and it was 8:50 already. Lots of thoughts came into my mind like how my life would be, what I would have to face etc.

I dropped my thoughts as soon as I heard the doorbell. I looked back at the clock and it was 10:00 am. My mom called me. I understood. I didn't get any power to walk at that moment. But I didn't even left any choice.

I reached at the doorway and looked back for the last time to my room. Though it was not that much big but it was my only safe place. Tears fell down from my eyes.

I heard my mom called my name again. I slowly walked down as I saw two mans, tall and muscular body with a white pale skin were standing in the doorway. I could tell that they were vampires. Their look were deadly gave me shiver. I slowly walked through them. They showed me handcuffs.

I looked back at my parents and gave my hands to them. There was nothing I could do. They handcuffed my both hands and forced me to walk with them. I stopped for a moment at the gate and looked back to my parents. Another man was handing a leaflet to them. I could tell that there was a bundle of money.

"FUCK YOU!!! You guys never deserve to be my parents"

I let go the last drop of the tear that fell from my eyes. After I entered the car they made me blindfolded. I could tell that the drive was so long. I slept for hours. When we reached at the destination they woke me up. I felt hungry and thirsty.

They took me to a room and again hanged up my hands with chains in the wall. Then they unfolded that piece of black cloth from my eyes. I couldn't open my eyes properly because of the light.

They left and I saw there were also few other girls and boys like me , hanged up in the wall. Everyone was so scared so as me but I didn't show it that much. I tried to talk to a boy who was by my side.

" Hey.... Ahh... Do you know what they are gonna do to us?"

" I don't know yet but I heard that vampires were gonna bring us." he replied.

"So how long you've been here? You look so Pale "

" It's been 5 days. They give a little food to us. The auction is going to held tomorrow as I heard." He said.

"Really!?"

Suddenly the door of that room slammed. A scary one came and gave some food.
