My P.O.V (Dylan P.O.V)
The performance begins at 6:30pm.
After school all of us in the school musical have some food before we begin getting ready.
We shower in the school showers and wash ourselves and our hair and then get out and dry off. We blow dry our hair and then our helpers begin to do our hair and make up.
It's 4pm now. It's 2 hours and a half until we hit the stage.
Kendall, Paige, Brooke and I are so excited.
2 hours later..
It's half an hour until we are on.
We begin getting dressed.
The workers and extra's who are in the overture part and background when i am singing the solo version of Tomorrow all get into their outfits (Builders, police officers, mail men ect)
Brooke gets into her first outfit, a sweater, jeans and trainers and a braided ponytail and hoops.
The other orphans/foster kids and I get into our grey pajamas and our half up half down braided ponytails.
Mr Stacks and his assistant and Annie's mum and dad get dressed even though they aren't on yet, for a while.
The scenery's will be done by are stage managers during the fast clothes changes we have to do.
We hear people arriving. They arrive at 15 minutes till 6.
We get ready on time.
It comes to 10 minutes to half past 6.
Our drama and music teacher take the stage to welcome the audience.
Our music teacher said "Welcome everyone to the first night and open night of our school Musical, Modern Annie."
Everyone claps.
Our drama teacher said "The whole cast have been working very very hard on this musical and are very excited to show you the life of modern Annie in 2014. We are filming the musical , all 3 days so you can order the DVD so you can have a copy to re watch.Thank you."
Everyone claps.
The music teacher said "Well let the musical begin"
The curtains draw open and the music starts for the overture. (The opening dance)
The workers begin the opening dance of the musical.
Me and the foster kids are backstage in the wings watching waiting for our Que to go on after the stage people have put the foster kids bedroom in Miss Hanagans apartment.
The opening dance looks amazing!
I get my head mic on and set up.
After their dance, the audiance cheer, then that scenery comes off and the bedroom in the apartment gets put up and we come on.
I sit on the middle bunk bed on the bottom with the 3 triplets who play Pepper, Tessa and Bella.
Kendall, Paige who play Molly and Keeley are with Gia, Laura and Jessica who play Ellie, Maddie and Gina are scattered around the stage sat on the bunk beds or floor.
