This is a short chapter, but I figured I should give you all something rather than nothing while I am busy. So enjoy! More coming soon!

To say the dress fit me like a glove was a grave understatement. The teal gown I had bought with the help of Sebastian seemed like it had been worked onto my body by the most skilled tailors, cut and sewed until it was in perfect harmony with my curves. Tom had thought so as well. The moment he had seen me step out of the closet, his hands had been all over me.

"You look so good," he said huskily against my ear, eliciting a ticklish feeling from my senses.

"Tom," I giggled, struggling to get my gloves on in the mirror while he kissed my neck from behind. His arms snaked their way around my waist, pulling me flush against him so that my bum was against his groin. I had known him long enough to know exactly where this was headed. "Tom, we can't. We are already late." And it was true. My hair and makeup had taken longer than expected, not to mention finding the perfect diamond necklace and bangles to compliment the outfit.

"They can wait a little longer," he said and turned me to face him. To my horror, he leaned down to kiss me.

"No!" I exclaimed. "You'll ruin my lipstick."

Amusement danced in his eyes as he leaned against my ear and whispered, "There are other parts of you I can kiss." His words sent a tingling sensation between my thighs and an eruption of heat in my face. His lips grazed my neck, beckoning my body to melt into his. Merlin, he knew how to tempt me. I was almost his. But as the grandfather clock chimed from the far corner of the room, I was reminded of the dinner we were already running late to.

I stepped out of his hold. "When we get back, Tom," I looked into his lust-drowned eyes. "I will make sure it was worth the wait."

   "I'll hold you to it."

Tom and I apparated onto Grandfather's property where a buzz of energy emanated from the numerous glass windows of the mansion, and soft music echoed in each blow of the night's cool wind. Within that breeze, I could smell the strong scent of pine which had become well-associated with the property as it was surrounded by massive trees. For some, the scent was much too strong, but for me it was nostalgic. I had loved it here as a child, it was my second home. I remembered running through the hallways and hiding behind grand pianos and shimmering suits of armor while Grandfather searched long and hard for me. I truly felt at ease here, even more so than at the Rosier mansion.

There were a large number of guards stationed outside and around the property. This was no surprise, as it was a common practice to increase security when valuable members of the Dark Lord's Death Eaters and pureblood families were present. Instantly, I recognized Sebastian who was in the process of assigning his men to different sections of the property. Normally, it would have just been the men that Grandfather had employed to guard the home, but when meetings or gatherings that involved both the Dark Lord and Grindelwald were held, security measures had to be increased. Merlin, the number of guards Tom had employed on our wedding day had been enough to build an army.
