Clear didn't know what to do as she looked at the havoc around her. She had lost to Thana once before, and she didn't want it to happen again, but she didn't know how to save these people right now.

Kat was stuck in her car, and Rory was off smoking and not taking any of this seriously. They were no closer to finding the pregnant woman, and now Thana was here somewhere, stalking them like her prey.

She'd almost picked off Eugene, who was just lucky that it wasn't his turn yet, but soon it would be, and Clear needed to find him before the redheaded demon did.

"Kimberly!" Sheriff Burke rushed towards them, cell phone in hand. "Isabella's at Lakeview Hospital." He explained to the two of them, "They're prepping her for delivery. We got to go now".

Clear had a slight tinge of longing in her stomach. Could this really be the thing to stop Thana? She knew it was stupid to give herself premature hope, but she couldn't help it.

"What about Kat?" The brunette worriedly motioned to the woman next on Thana's list, the one that could be killed at any moment.

Clear put her hand on Kimberly's shoulder with a severe expression. "I'll go talk to her," making her way over to the trapped businesswoman with a look of pity.

"Hi." Kat gave a sad smile. "Just find Isabella and get this thing over with, okay?" At Clear's hesitance, Kat motioned for her to leave. "Go on, I'll be fine."

Clear hated the almost accepting aura Kat had gained. It was like the smaller woman knew her fate was sealed and that Thana had won her life. There was no way out of this for her.

Stepping back, the blonde watched silently for a moment as the firemen began trying to pry the car door open, slamming the jaws of life into the car hard, accidentally causing the airbag to deploy.

Her breath caught as the bag deflated, showing Kat's wide-eyed, horrified expression as the broken PVC pipe stuck through her forehead.

It happened quickly, and Thana was still nowhere to be seen. The redhead usually thrived on terrifying her victims before killing them, and yet nothing. That only caused her to worry even more.

Kat's death shocked everyone in the surrounding area, which caused almost a blanket of chaos to spread throughout the field. Reporters rushed towards them, the firemen backed away in dumbfounded surprise, and her fellow survivors watched on in grief.

That was until everything seemed to stop suddenly, nothing moved, and there was no noise. A bird flying by froze in its place, and the shouting reporters halted, mouths open.

Clear was the only anomaly.

"Hello, Clear," the blonde gasped and turned to see the familiar sight of Castiel. He watched her stoically before glancing at the mayhem around them.

"Did you do this?" Clear stuttered, eyeing all the frozen people and objects around her. The angel seemed to have stopped time where it stood, and that made her wonder why he hadn't done this before.

"Yes, but only here. I can't stop the whole world, and no, I can't do this to Thana" His expression was one of knowing and slight pity. She wasn't sure if it was for her or the situation, but she didn't like it either way.

"You know my sister wasn't always like this," Castiel offered as the blonde scoffed in disbelief, hearing him almost as if he were a normal brother covering for his troublesome baby sister.

"She's a demon. That's the epitome of evil. Look what she's done!" Clear seethed, but Castiel's calm aura didn't budge nor flicker from its pure white.

The angel nodded along with her words. "She is a demon," he agreed, and only then did his aura change a little as Clear felt his trepidation.

Seeing her expression, the angel continued talking, "Did you know Thana and I share the same father? Lucifer, King of hell" the blonde shook her head. She knew nothing of their family life; she only knew what Alex had told her "We're also the only ones to share the same mother. An angel".

Clear's eyes widened quickly. "Thana's mom is an Angel?" she muttered, wondering how Thana hadn't gained any of her mother's heavenly spirit, but Castiel here was a full-blown Angel.

"Why do you think I'm an angel, but she's a demon?" It was almost as if he wanted Clear to guess instead of telling her, like if he told her, then Thana would be wrathful.

Clear hadn't really thought about it. She took the supernatural siblings at face value. She had never wondered why one was a godly angel, but the other was the evilest thing she's come across.

"When I was born our mother was in heaven. I was blessed at my birth, but during Thana's, our father tricked her into hell where my sister was born, and thus corrupted by perdition" Everything was starting to make sense.

"Thana is technically half angel, but the more time she spends in hell, the worse the darkness in her evolves. Becoming Death only intensified her demon side" Castiel's energy faltered for a moment, and Clear realized that meant the angel was also half demon.

"So the reason you're so-" Clear motioned to him without finding the right words "-is because you spend a lot of time in Heaven and doing God's work, I'm guessing?".

The angel nodded once. "I have a plan for my sister, but I fear we will only make her more volatile. But you have to understand, even without my sister, another Death will, in turn, be appointed".

Clear glanced at the carnage around them with fresh eyes "anything has to be better than this" there will always be death, but hopefully, it won't be as corrupt as it is now.

Castiel stared into the empath's eyes almost as if reading her mind; holding out a hand to her, he spoke, "Let me show you how she once was. I already told you my sister hasn't always been this way".

A beat passed as Clear weighed her options, although now seeing Thana in a different light, she didn't want to have any chance of feeling anything towards the redhead.

But, if getting to know the demon helps them eliminate her, then seeing what Castiel has to show her might benefit the group. She could potentially save the rest of them.

Glancing down at the outstretched hand, waiting patiently, Clear sighed before non-too-gently slapping her hand into it. This better be worth it.
