"Should I break up with him? I don't even know how we got together in the first place, I remember when we met it was at a small get together with friends. He kept to himself and didn't really talk to anyone. But I guess I was attracted to that. I liked how he looked, hell he still looks like a god. He is pretty. But after we got together I started to see the down side to dating people like him. I think the best thing to do for both of us is to break up. But I don't want to, but he looks miserable being with me. " Sanemi thought to himself. "He only lives down the hall from me, so I could go over there and talk to him?" Sanemi questioned looking at his front door, but he looked back and shut that idea down. "No, he isn't even home at the moment. He is at the doctors." He groaned and leaned back into the couch. "What should I do?" He looked up at the ceiling.

"Speaking of the devil." Sanemi thought looking at his front door that opened. It was Giyuu. "Hey." Sanemi said. "Hi." He said back, Sanemi was confused. "He never responds?" Sanemi thought to himself. "How was the doctors?" Sanemi asked. "Alright. I guess." Giyuu said quietly walking to the bedroom the change. "Now that is strange he never answers questions when I ask them?" Sanemi sat there confused by his boyfriends actions.

Giyuu walked out of the bedroom in a t-shirt and shorts, he then went to the couch and sat next to Sanemi, Sanemi was confused because Giyuu never sat close to him before. But the real thing that through Sanemi off was when Giyuu laid on his lap. "Giyuu?" Sanemi questioned as he looked down at his lover's head. "What is wrong with him, he never acts like this? Did the doctor say something to him? Did the doctor do something to him? Is there something wrong with him? With me? With our relationship?" Sanemi thought to himself. Then something happened, something he never thought would happen, Giyuu started to sob. "Giyuu? What is wrong?" Sanemi asked, he was really worried this was off putting behavior for him.

Giyuu didn't say anything but kept sobbing and it wasn't stopping. It was worrying Sanemi but he just sat there, he sat there until Giyuu cried himself to sleep. "Giyuu?" Sanemi called out, he heard slight snoring, he picked Giyuu up and put him in his bed. He decided to lay next to Giyuu and hold him in his arms. "This is strange. I've never held him like this, it feels perfect." Sanemi said with a slight smile, he didn't fall asleep but he just laid with Giyuu and eventually he was on his phone waiting for Giyuu to wake up.

And eventually he did. Giyuu woke up and saw Sanemi. Sanemi saw him. "Giyuu, do you wanna talk about it?" Sanemi asked Giyuu. He didn't really care if Giyuu answered him. "No." Giyuu shook his head. "It is hard to say out loud." Giyuu said, Sanemi started to think the worst. "Did someone touch or say something to you?" Sanemi asked trying to get his boyfriend to at least give a hint. Giyuu nodded no. "Give me a second." Giyuu said getting out of the bed and leaving to room. Sanemi got up out of the bed and went to the door and watched Giyuu rummage through his bag that was on the floor.

He pulled out a piece of paper, and brought it to Sanemi. Sanemi looked at Giyuu while grabbing the papers. Giyuu had a dark expression on his face. "It can't be that bad, right?" Sanemi thought to himself. He opened the folded up paper and started to read it. And he wished it didn't. Everything on that piece of paper made his entire world flip upside down. Giyuu was dying.

Going back to earlier that morning, Giyuu was in his apartment getting ready for his doctor's appointment oblivious to what would change his world. He was going to the doctors because of a never ending pain in his chest, he went previously to get it checked out and this was a follow up. He didn't want to complain about it but sometimes it messed with his breathing. Before leaving his bedroom he went to his nightstand and kissed the picture of Sanemi that he had. He wished he could kiss Sanemi, but it was hard when his body kept telling him no. His body kept telling him that Sanemi was a threat but he didn't want to listen to it. He sighed, he wanted to tell Sanemi how much he loved him but he didn't want to be made fun of for his feelings.

He left his apartment and walked down the hall, he complemented going into Sanemi's apartment which was down the hall and telling him goodbye and that he'd be back later. But his body said no. "It is to dangerous." His thoughts told him. He'd wish the thoughts that made him doubt everything could go away, but they wouldn't. He sighed and went to the elevator and went to the first floor. The elevator went down and he waited. He then got out when it stropped and left the building, he walked to the doctor's office which wasn't far from his apartment building.

He went signed in, and waited for his name to be called. When it was called he remembered what they made him do when he first came, they made him test his breathing and do all kinds of stuff. His thoughts were broken by his name being called. "Tomioka Giyuu, the doctor will see you now." A nurse said, Giyuu got up and followed her to a room where he was to wait for the doctor. He sat down and waited until there was a knock on the door. "Hi, Tomioka. How are you?" His doctor said as he sat down in another chair. "I'm okay." Giyuu said. "That is good, but Giyuu I have some bad news about that pain in your chest." The doctor said in a serious tone, it made Giyuu's thoughts run. "Leave now, it is dangerous." He sighed sometimes he had to let them run, it was a part of living, He was fighting the thoughts in his head for this, but his head was now aching. "Okay, can you make it quick?" Giyuu said.

The doctor sighed and took off his glasses. "So, we ran test and found early stages of cancer in your right lung." It went quiet, everything was quiet. Giyuu felt like his heart got ripped out and crushed. The thoughts in his head went quiet too, like they were never there. "What?" Giyuu asked hoping his ears were deceiving him. "I'm sorry Tomioka, but you have stage one of Lung cancer." They doctor said one more time. "Oh." That was all Giyuu said, he was frozen. "Why don't you go home for today? Talk with your loved ones, and process this with yourself. Come back tomorrow and we will go over your options." The doctor said, Giyuu just nodded yes. He left the doctor's office with a piece of paper explaining the details. and while walking he was still processing it. He was more calmed down though. Or that is what he thought. He went up the elevator and it was quiet.

He got off on his floor but he passed Sanemi's door and froze, he looked at the knob and at his keys, he had a key to Sanemi's apartment and Sanemi had one to his. He unlocked the door and went inside, seeing Sanemi on the couch. He placed his stuff down and that is when the talking began, While talking to Sanemi no thoughts came into his head to yell at him to leave and if the did he was going to shut them down. He went and changed, and then sat down next to Sanemi. He felt like he was finally in control of his own body and mind. So he took control, he laid on Sanemi and as soon as he did be broke down. He went to sleep and when he woke up, he showed Sanemi, and now back in present time they stood in front of each other not moving after Sanemi read what was on the paper.
