jisung got a 95% on his math test. he couldn't believe it.

he gasped as he saw the mark and the nod of approval from his teacher. he had to tell minho.

the lunch bell rang and he shot out of his chair. he went to the cafeteria, looking around for minho.

he didn't see the boy anywhere. jisung gripped the test paper as he decided to check outside, and found the boy sitting against a tree, with his eyes closed.

jisung stood still, eyeing his face. his hair was against his forehead, with courtesy of the wind occasionally pushing it away gently. his lips were parted slightly, yet you couldn't tell if you didn't focus enough.

he looked so pretty.

what?

jisung shook off the thoughts, and sat next to him. "minho?" he whispered quietly and saw no movement.

gently shaking him, minho slowly opened his eyes. he jumped as he saw jisung right next to him and placed a hand over his heart.

"hi, jisung."

"guess what?!" he waved the paper in minho's face as he had a bright smile. minho squinted, seeing the 95% and his eyes widened.

"jisung! holy shit!"

"i cannot thank you enough for helping me, dude. it means a lot."

minho grew rather upset. since jisung's grades were all above passing, he didn't have to tutor him anymore.

unless his grade was below a 60%.

he glanced around and saw the stares, nudging jisung. "you should go eat lunch with your friends. i'm glad too got the grade you deserve."

jisung eyed the people that stared at them, and he could tell minho was bothered by it. "but, you're my friend. i'll eat lunch with a different friend today."

he eyed the empty grass around minho and frowned. "where's your lunch?" minho had a sad smile, and inhaled slowly.

"i ate already."

jisung nodded slowly, and continued gushing about how easy the questions were as he wrote the test.

"therefore, you do not need to tutor han jisung any longer. i thank you for what you've accomplished. it hasn't been done with that boy."

minho bowed, giving a small smile to jisung's parents that also thanked him. they call the parents to the school in order to show them the marks, and introduce the tutors.

he never really wanted to be associated with jisung, since he was popular and minho wasn't. he never expected to be jisung's tutor.

he definitely didn't expect to have his number, or spend so much time with him. he was glad he could help, and now he was alone again.

jisung had texted him if he wanted to hangout throughout the day, but he just ignored them.

he suddenly received a call and accepted it without seeing who it was. "minho! i've been texting you all day!"

shit.

he hung up quickly, jisung on the other hand groaned in annoyance.

"will you lose the bet, han? you never lose."

"i won't lose, allen. he'll fall for me by next week."

allen scoffed. "you have till next friday, han. step it up." jisung rolled his eyes, having made a bet with his friends on who can sleep with minho first.

he found minho to be genuinely nice and didn't want to play him. felix's eyes were wide at what he just heard.

he didn't know minho, but he wouldn't let anyone be treated that way. jisung glanced around and froze as he saw felix.

felix bolted and jisung sprinted after him. the two weren't close, but they were acquainted. "felix! come here right now!"

"no! i'm telling this poor boy what you're doing to him!"

jisung quickly shook his head and they suddenly saw minho at his locker, packing up to go home.

"hey! lee minho!"

minho whipped his head and saw two guys charging at him. well, this is where he dies.

felix tackled him and minho's eyes were wide. "jisung's trying to screw you! it's a whole fucking bet with his stupid popular friends!"

"felix!" jisung grabbed the aussie and glared, noticing the hurt in minho's eyes. minho stood, dudting off his shirt and shrugged.

"i figured something was off with you being so nice. all popular people are the fucking same. trying to get the highest body count in the entire fucking school."

"minho-"

minho shook his head, picking up his backpack. "stay away from me, han. don't get me involved."

as he walked off, jisung pushed felix. "why the fuck would you do that?! i wasn't even going along with the bet! i did at the beginning but then i was genuine about being his friend!"
