no one heard from minho in weeks. jisung was blocked so he couldn't even contact him.
minho never cried so hard in his life. he laid cuddled up in bed, hugging himself. it made it worse that he had no one to hold him.
he had no parents, no family that cared enough to visit. no friends. just cats.
he held his cats tight, sniffling. "why is life so mean to me?" he glanced at his bandaged arm and cried harder at how he broke the promise to himself of being clean.
it was 3 months, but he was so proud of himself. his body hurt from the crying he did. he heard knocks on his door and furrowed his eyebrows.
he went downstairs, feeling his body about to give up. opening the door he was met with a familiar face.
"minho-" jisung was one he did not want to see.
"why are you here?"
even though he didn't know minho well, he could see how horrible he looked. he looked malnourished, heartbroken, angry, tear streaked, everything.
"i really need to talk to you."
"talk."
jisung sighed. "privately." minho rolled his eyes and motioned for him to come in, as minho led jisung upstairs.
minho sat on his bed as jisung quickly bowed. "i want to explain everything, so please. don't interrupt me."
"yes. it started out as a bet for who can sleep with you first. i'll admit it. but, as the sessions went on, i forgot about the bet. i genuinely thought you were chill, and thought we were becoming friends. my dumbass ruined it all, and i know i have a horrible friend group. i'm aware of it. i just get used for popularity, and i don't want to deal with that."
jisung sighed before continuing. "i'm so fucking sorry, minho. i truly am. i stopped the bet, i'm going to leave their friend group. please, please forgive me."
minho's lip quivered, and he nodded. "don't mess with me, please. i don't want to be hurt anymore."
jisung shook his head. "i won't. i promise that to you." the latter stood up and jisung opened his arms.
minho hugged him tight, feeling himself calm down at the security. "i don't forgive you. but i'm giving you another chance."
"okay, yeah. i didn't expect forgiveness for what i did so soon."
—
jisung's heart shattered when minho told him he didn't need to tutor jisung anymore.
"jisung, i can't tutor you if you're at a 90 in math."
"but i still don't get the concepts, min! i get what you taught me, but there's stuff i still don't get!"
minho sighed, glancing at his lap. he was sat in jisung's room and was in the desk chair as jisung was sprawled on the bed.
"okay, how about if you are having trouble you text me and i can just call you?"
"in person. i want you to help me in person."
jisung sat up, leant against the head board. "ji, i'm going to be busy. i have to make a choreo for my dance class and i don't think i'll have time to meet up."
he nodded, knowing he couldn't always have minho help him. "i can probably meet you at lunch to help, but i don't want to take away-"
"perfect! tomorrow at lunch, outside!"
minho blinked quickly, not able to even think. "um, are you sure? that takes away your free time."
jisung shrugged. "we have a longer lunch tomorrow, anyway. maybe we can just drive to a cafe. so we can study and eat."
minho nodded. "okay. i'll see you tomorrow." he stood up, and jisung watched him closely as he left the room.
—
jisung texted him saying that he would meet minho in a few minutes. he was just speaking to his teacher.
minho was sat against the tree, his regular spot, and glanced around. he jumped as he saw someone sprinting towards him, but noticed it was jisung.
he stood up and brushed himself off as jisung led him to the car. "alright, we've got an hour lunch, should we just go to a cafe? or did you want to go somewhere else?"
minho shrugged, realizing freshman him would be screaming. he was alone with his old crush. he wouldn't say it completely faded, but it had definitely been coming back.
jisung noticed how often minho zoned out and thought it was cute. "min? you're gone again." he placed his hand on his thigh and minho was back in reality.
his body burned at the touch and jisung chuckled slightly as minho blinked quickly. "is the cafe good?"
minho nodded, and jisung smiled. as he drove, jisung's hand stayed on minho's thigh. he tapped his fingers against the clothed skin, humming along to the radio.
as soon as minho shifted, jisung shot a glance at him. "are you uncomfortable with my hand touching you? do you want me to move-"
"ji, it's okay. don't worry about it, i'm good."
jisung nodded, rubbing the thigh lightly. "okay."
he parked the car in the parking lot, taking off his seatbelt.minho found jisung's touch still burned into his skin. he got out of the car, exhaling slowly as he slung his bag over his shoulder.
they went into the cafe, finding a table rather quickly since it was early in the morning. jisung pulled out his papers quickly and placed them in front of minho.
"look!"
minho eyed the tests and saw how jisung got over 90's on all over them. "ji! that's fantastic! great job."
jisung had a wide smile at the praise and grasped minho's hand. "i cannot thank you enough for tutoring me. i've had tutors every year for math, but only you have been able to help."
"it's really no problem. but, you had a tutor every year? i was a tutor every year."
jisung groaned. "they couldn't have put me with you earlier?!" the latter had a tight lipped smile as he looked at jisung, almost entranced.
jisung absolutely loved finding new habit's about minho. he fiddled with whatever he was wearing or his fingers when he was nervous, he zoned out whenever people spoke to him, he had a very short attention span, his eyes lit up when he spoke about something he enjoyed.
there were so many habits that jisung loved.
