Y/N watches the news broadcast as she taps her foot anxiously. "The Stonebeings are all over Paris. For the time being, they're showing no signs of movement. Police have cordoned off the area."
"We won't stop until we find a way to get those people back to normal selves but for now we're not making much headway."
"Paris is relying on our new guardian angels, Ladybug, Pantheress and Cat Noir to save us all. Our lives depend on them."
Y/N turns off the computer and heads down stairs. "Mom, have you been watching the news?" she asks, hoping her mother continued to watch the news report. "Yes, and I really hope those Stonebeings don't cause any problems." (Your mothers name) says.
Sighing, Y/N sits on the couch beside her mom and grabs her hand. "You know what, since there's three new superheroes in the city, I'm sure they'll stop the Stonebeings." Y/N assures. Her mother chuckles "Thanks sweetheart."
"If I'm not mistaken, I heard that Ladybug and Pantheress really kicked some ass." Y/N spoke with a light chuckle causing her mother to side eye her before letting out a stifled laugh. "Chile, I worry about you sometimes."
"I would be worried too."
"And since you mentioned Pantheress, do you know who she reminds me of?" (Your mothers name) says.
Oh no.
"No idea." Y/N replies.
"You." this statement makes Y/N fall silent.
"What, no! She's way cooler than I am. And she's also a superhero. Plus she has completely different features, we look nothing alike." Y/N states. "Maybe it's just me, but her personality reminds me of you."
Nooo, I just got this job. No way she figured out who Pantheress was already.
"But maybe it's because we spend so much time together and you're my daughter." Y/N looks up and at tv. "I'd love to chat some more, but I really have to leave for school." she says.
"All right, you better go then." (Your mothers name) says. "Will do."

Marinette watches the broadcast as she helps her dad and she becomes too stunned to speak. Tom places a head on his daughters shoulder. "Listen, I know how upsetting and scary this is but don't worry sweetie, we've got 3 superheroes looking out for Paris. And the best way of helping them is to show them that we're not scared, because we trust them."
"But what if Ladybug fails?" Marinette says in defeat. "Then I'd come and save you. Superbaker to the rescue!" Tom says causing Marinette to giggle. "Thanks, Superdad." she
responds before kissing her on the cheek and heading up the stairs.
In her room, Marinette grabs her bag before looking at her drawer, where the box with the earrings were, along with Tikki. Swallowing her pride, she takes the box out and places it in her bag.
