A.N. So I realised tat for the details of my plot to work, when Carter and Percy met in the son of Sobek they need to end up trusting each other and explained their whole camp and Egyptian gods sharing their bodies situations. So just pretend that happened and don't hate me for slightly modifying the original story.

Carter's POV

Sadie and I each packed a bag and went to the roof. I summoned the reed boat from the duat tied it to Freak.

As we flew towards Long Island, I wondered why Percy had called us. When I finally saw the place I had seen in my vision, I told Freak to stop. WE landed and I saw Percy standing on top of a hill with a single Pine tree on it . He had his arm slung over the shoulders of this truly gorgeous girl with curly golden hair and tanned skin. THe only part that disturbed me was her stormy eyes that immediately told you not to mess with her unless you were suicidal. Then she would gladly help you reach the Hall of Osiris the hard way. That part kind of creeped me out.

"Percy!" I called out to them

"Hey Carter! How are you?"

"Not bad." I answered "You called me?"

"Yeah. Me and Annabeth here"he pointed to the blond girl I assumed was his girlfriend "recently were issued this quest and we got this prophesy from our oracle" He relayed the prophesy to me and continued explaining the situation.

"The first line made me think of you guys because of the whole Eye of the gods- Sadie hosting Isis the goddess of magic thing. Anyway, since you two are mentionned in the prophesy I thought you should come with us. The competition requires four schools and we only have two right now so if you know any other young magicians that would be interested you could participate as a different school. Unfortunately, we have this rule about quests here and I cant give you anymore details unless you accept the quest. I know, it sucks. So, are you guys in?"

"I need to talk to Sadie about this, ask for her opinion."

We turned over to the girls who were chatting like old friends . When had they met?

"Sadie, I need to talk to you"I said

"What about?"she replied

"THey asked us to come here because we were mentionned in a prophesy for their next quest. It has something to do with a few schools and a competition and we could bring the twenty-first nome with us as a third school, THe school he mentionned probably being the first and the second being some of these campers."

"Okay"she said. Her answer took me by surprise. I had expected more resistance on her part but she seemed to be taking this fairly well.

"It's settled then! We are going on a quest." I announced

ANNABETH'S POV

"Now"I said "For the extra infomation: the school we're going to is called Hogwarts. There has recently been a battle there and they are struggling to get over it." For a moment I thought I saw a slightly mocking look pass through Percy's eyes but it passed just as quickly as it had come. "THe students attending this school are mortals that were blessed by Hecate long ago and thus got magical abilities. They go by the name of wizards and witches"

"You mean like the old bearded men with pointy hats and the creepy ladies with warts and black cats?" Asked Sadie

"I'd say more like normal people that use wands to channel inborn magic" I said

"So they're like magicians with a different power source."stated the girl with the purple streaked hair

"I guess so"

With a concerned look on his face, Carter interrupted our discussion that was getting slightly off topic. "What about the competition Percy mentionned earlier. What is it?"

"Three schools will send their best students to Hogwarts where two of each will be magically chosen through yet to be discovered means. These students will compete in a series of challenges. That's all Chiron told me." I explained.

"For the part about being the third school, I'm the leader of the twenty-first nome and it is composed entirely of pretty powerful magicians between the ages of five and eighteen. Maybe I could convince them to come." said Carter "Anyways, they've been bored out of their skulls since..."He trailed off.

"Well we should leave now, we need to gather our magicians and get them to be as cooperative as possible." said Carter

"As if that was going to happen!" snorted Sadie

Ignoring her comment, Carter continued "When is this competition?"

"We'll be spending the school year there, starting the first of September." Percy filled in."We need to meet up here on August 30th to go buy the supplies at some place called Polygone Valley or something in London."

"It's Diagon Alley Seaweed Brain!" I corrected him

"What Wise Girl said." ammended my wonderful boyfriend.

"Well I guess we'll see you next week."said Sadie

And with that Sadie hugged me and we all said our goodbyes and they got back on their boat.
