I DO NOT OWN THE IMAGES!

The day has come at last. The day when Neo and Stan ventured off into the outside world to find supplies and any survivors out there. They hoped that their friends would be out there, somewhere hiding from whatever or whoever. With Miss Pauling with them, they know where to go once they ventured out. But this was not an easy thing.

At the entrance, the two men were saying goodbyes to their friends and family. Stan hugged his godsisters and Natalya, who was informed of the situation. She wanted to prevent him from leaving. But with the crisis happening, she has no choice. Plus, Stan wanted this so that his mother can survive without being trapped inside for one more day.

"Little cub. You stay strong out there, and please be safe." Natalya said while trying to hold her tears in.

"Don't worry, Nata. I will." Stan nodded. He hugged her tightly as one final embrace before venturing out. Natalya could no longer keep the dam from breaking as she sheds tears.

Neo and Krystal were embracing once more before Neo goes with Stan. He looked at her and smiled. "I hope to be back soon."

"As do I." Krystal said.

Neo then placed a hand on Krystal's belly. "Hang tight child of mine. Daddy's gonna save us all." Neo and Krystal kissed once more before letting go.

Loona and Tyler were saying their goodbyes as well. Tyler was crying as he didn't want Stan to go. This was hard on Stan as his fragile heart couldn't take much more. He hugged him and Loona, kissing the latter, while trying not to let his heart break apart.

"I'll be back. I promise." Stan promised.

"You better not die." Loona said.

Stan nodded in response.

Neo and Stan, along with Miss Pauling, got close to the entrance as everyone else got back to keep themselves from getting radiation poisoning. It was heartbreaking to see them go, but they need the two to go venture out and save them with supplies. The guard spoke through the com.

"Ok Mr. Phoenix. Mr. Keene. Once you go out there, be sure to watch out for the mutants. You two, alone with Miss Pauling, are our only hope. Good luck, god bless, and god speed."

The door then started to open slowly after that. The three waited until it was fully opened before walking towards it. Once they made it, the door behind them closed and the front door opened. The outside elements began spreading and they felt no effect at all.

It was somewhat an amazing feeling to the boys. For as long as they can remember, they had to wear protective suits before venturing out to the outside. They also had to come back within a certain time limit or else they would suffocate. Not to mentioned that of the suits were to break, they would get radiation sickness and die without treatment. Now they had bodies that can resist it all. No suits. No time limit, save for the supplies they need to retrieve. And no worry about oxygen. It was like a freedom they have never thought they would receive again. And now, they will not waste it. After looking back at the door, they ventured outward and began their mission to save the shelter, and perhaps the world.

"Ok Ms. Pauling. Where is the campsite?" Neo asked.

"25 miles up north. But the path is very dangerous." Pauling explained.

"With the Mutants out there, I understand." Stan stated.

But Pauling stopped and turned to face them. "It's not just them. It's the others."

"Others?" Neo asked.

"What others?" Stan asked.

"Believe it or not, there is a factory somewhere running. It's producing robots. But not just any kind. These robots are solely powered by radiation."
