Epilogue

Over the next few weeks we do more shows. Dad, mom and them come to a few and I go to a few of Caroline's plays with Phillip. Today Phillip wanted to take me out somewhere before the play. Once we got in the carriage he had me put on a blindfold. The ride was only around 10 minutes. When it came to a stop he grabbed my hand and helped me out. He held my hand while leading me somewhere. After about a minute he put his hands on both my shoulders making me stop.

"Okay when I tell you, take off your blindfold." Phillip told me.

"Ok?" I said laughing a little. I heard some rustling.

"Ok take it off." I heard him say from behind me. I lifted the blindfold off and was met with a very pleasant sight. I was standing in the middle of an orchard. All the trees were full of bright vibrant leaves and around the base were flowers. There were many different pathways of stone. I slowly turned around taking in everything. When I turned to where Phillip was, he wasn't standing.

He was down on one knee holding a black velvet box. My hands flew to my mouth as my eyes started welling up with tears of joy. "Liana Barnum. From the moment I met you at Alex's party I knew you were the one for me. You didn't immediately throw yourself at me and that attracted me. I love you so much and I can't imagine my life without you." He opens the box revealing a ring. It was a simple ring with a flower design and a rose gold color. "Will you please do me the honor of marrying me?" I nodded my head, unable to speak. As soon as he slipped the ring on he stood up and I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him. He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist.

After weeks of planning the day had come. I was in the dressing room in my dress. I was playing with my locket nervously as I had to go soon. My mom was in the room with me waiting for the go sign. After a few minutes my mom walked to me.

"You ready?" She asked me.

"Yes." I said nervously. "Were you this nervous on your wedding day?" I ask her as I stand up and start walking to the door.

"Very. But all of it faded away as soon as I saw your father looking at me." She opened the door and we made our way down the hallway. Once we were next to a pair of curtains I stopped. She stood off to the side with me as my father came up next to me. I looped my arm with his. We watched Lettie and George Costentenus walk through. Lettie was wearing a blue dress with floral designs and George was wearing a suit. Next was my mom with W.D. She was wearing the same dress design as Lettie and W.D. was also in a suit. Lastly Anne and Alex walked through in the same attire as the previous. Then Caroline and Helen walked through with their baskets full of red petals. As the music started dad and I started to walk through. We walked down the aisle slowly as everyone stared at me. Yet the only eyes I cared about were Phillips. I was staring into his eyes and it was like everything stopped. I couldn't feel anyones stares. I didn't care if the outside world judged us. All I cared about was him.

Once I made it down the aisle dad left my side and I stood in front of Phillip and held his hands. Everyone sits down in their seats.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and woman in holy matrimony. Do you Philip Carlyle take this woman to be your wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

" Do you Liana Barnum take this man to be your husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

"Repeat after me. I, Philip Carlyle, take you Liana Barnum, to be my wife."

"I, Philip Carlyle, take you Liana Barnum, to be my wife."

" May we have the rings." Caroline walks up to us holding a pillow with two rings on it. Phillip picks up the ring meant for me. "Repeat after me. I give you this ring as a token and a pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."

"I give you this ring as a token and a pledge of our constant faith and abiding love." Phillip says as he places the ring on my finger. Then I picked up his ring.

"Repeat after me. I give you this ring as a token and a pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."

"I give you this ring as a token and a pledge of our constant faith and abiding love." I say placing the ring on his finger.

"By the power vested in me. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." He says and Phillip pulls me in by the waist and kisses me.

A/N This chapter has 1092 words. I personally do not know how weddings work. I've only been to one and it was my mothers I hope you liked it. This surprisingly took me a lot longer to write than most of the chapters even though the chapters are about 2000 words.

Now that I am finished editing this I will begin to work on my new story. It will be a James Potter and OC story with a possible side relationship of Lily Evans and OC or Severus. I will post an update to this book when the new book is up.
