Kiyomi POV
"Sword of Totsuka" I muttered to myself as I searched for information in the library. Would it really be able to remove the curse mark? The Sword of Totsuka seemed vaguely familiar to me for whatever reason so I felt the urge to search it up... after searching for a while, I stumbled across a book that mentioned that the sword is an ethereal weapon.
"Kiyomi, I didn't know you were into mythology." Tsunade came into the library with Shizune.
"Lady Tsunade! Shizune!" I looked up in surprise.
"We stopped by the library for some medical books." Tsunade explained.
Shizune peered at the book I was reading. "That's quite an interesting picture of a sword you have there."
"Oh uh well...it's nothing hehe." I laughed nervously and started to close the book.
"The Sword of Totsuka!" Tsunade glanced at the page I was on.
"You've heard of it before?" I asked curiously, looking at her unreadable expression as she glanced at the cover of the book.
"I-I have." Tsunade had a shadowed expression on her face.

Tsunade POV
-Flashback -
"Ow, Tsunade!" Dan exclaimed as I tightened the bandages around his arm in the medical tent.
"You idiot, I told you to be more careful using your Spirit Transformation jutsu! Now you've got an injured arm!" I scolded.
"Tsunade, don't worry." Dan looked at me with his emerald green eyes. "I learned this jutsu from my father when I was younger. I know what I'm doing."
"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes, not believing him. "So your parents are spirits then." I joked.
Dan shrugged. "The Kekkai Genkai passed down to me... who knows how my parents got it."
"The spirits huh?" Orochimaru appeared, causing me to jump slightly. "That must be why you were reading this book earlier." he handed a book back to Dan.
"Orochimaru! Why were you going through Dan's belongings!" I placed my hands on my hips.
"It was that Jiraya idiot." Orochimaru was unfazed and simply pointed at Jiraya.
"W-well I saw this really cool picture of a sword and..." Jiraya said sheepishly.
"Jiraya!" I shook my fists angrily at him. "That book was given to Dan by his parents!" Jiraya had fresh bumps on his head that he rubbed with a sour expression.
"There's no harm done Tsunade. The book is still back in one piece." Dan laughed.
"Eh?!" I turned to Dan with an embarrassed expression.
"Besides, that sword Jiraya mentioned, it is quite interesting. It's known as the Sword of Totsuka." Dan continued.
"How fascinating." Orochimaru mumbled, but I did not miss his slight smirk.

This was the last time all of us were together, before that fateful attack that took away the man I loved... but how did this book end up in the library?

Kiyomi POV
Tsunade slammed the book closed. "Sorry Kiyomi, do you mind if I keep this book? Promise me you won't search for the sword."
