" Chapter 9 "

Flashback From Two Years Ago...

~ Asiye ~

The sweat beads started forming on her forehead as panic washed over her when she gazed at the pregnancy kit showing positive. She did the test thrice and all the three kits showed positive. She was also having the symptoms of pregnancy like nausea, sleeping every then and now and she also missed her periods.

She leaned against the wall as she was not able to balance her body weight. She didn't know what to do now. Tears blurred her vision when she blinked, it rolled down from her cheeks. She cried out loudly then palmed her face with her hands not wanting anyone to hear her crying.

Yagiz...

The only name came in her mind. It's been more than a month that he left the mansion, staying in his apartment. It's been more than a month when she submitted herself to him.

Quickly washing her face, she ran out of the washroom. Hastily grabbing her phone she dialed his number but he didn't picked her call, after trying for more than ten times she gave up and sat down on the bed, palming her face.

"Hazan what happened? You okay?" 17 year old Asiye asked stepping inside the bedroom. She was shocked seeing Hazan a crying mess.

"Asiye." She got up hugging her younger sister whom she loved dearly.

"Hazan you're scaring me! Tell me what happened?" Asiye asked forcefully, breaking the hug.

"Asiye I'm pregnant." She said making Asiye's eyes widened.

"Wha... whattt?" Hazan shut her eyes tightly shaking her head in yes.

"Means you and Yagiz abi... you two..." Asiye fumbled with her words.

"Yes. It just happened." She answered.

"OH MY GOD! Shit. Hazan just call Yagiz abi and tell him everything before anyone gets to know about it." Hazan cried out loudly at her words.

"I tried calling him but he isn't picking up my calls." She said crying her heart out.

"Oh yes! Yagiz abi has already left for New York for a deal maybe that's why he didn't picked up the call." Asiye said.

"Listen Hazan. Stop crying okay? Let's go to the hospital and get a test done because we can't trust this pregnancy kit." Asiye said as she wiped her elder sister's tears.

"You can't cry like this okay? You're strong." Asiye further added.

Next Day...

Her hand started shivering seeing the reports. She was 3 weeks pregnant and then the doctor's words...

"You're just 19 and your womb is too weak to carry a baby." The old lady doctor said making her numb.

"It's better if you call your husband and tell him about it. As a doctor I'll give you the option to go for an abortion." Doctor said again and she shifted uncomfortably on her seat hearing 'Husband'. She called him so many times but he didn't even picked a single call, not even for once.

"I don't want to abort my child Doctor." She said staring at the doctor.

"And stop giving me those nasty looks. Don't try to judge anyone without even knowing anything. I haven't committed any sin." She further added glaring at the doctor.

"Miss you're too weak and even your womb is too fragile. You can't carry the child right now. You might lose your life aswell." Doctor tried to make her understand.

"I want to give birth to this child Doctor." She said. Her voice was loud and clear. The doctor prescribed her some medicines and then she walked out.

"What happened? What did the doctor say?" Asiye asked impatiently as she was waiting outside the doctor's room for her sister to come out.

"The doctor said that I'm fine and so as the baby." Hazan lied.

"WHY ARE YOU DISTURBING ME HAZAN? I'M IN NEW YORK AND I'M BUSY WITH MY WORK. WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?" He yelled from the other side of the phone and she pressed her lips tightly, trying hard not to cry out loud.

"Yagiz beca... use of th.. at nig.. ht.." He cut her in between.

"WHAT BECAUSE OF THAT NIGHT HUH? WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS JUST A MISTAKE HAZAN! I GOT CARRIED AWAY, SO AS YOU! DAMN IT I DON'T LOVE YOU AND I KNOW THAT YOU DON'T LOVE ME ASWELL SO WHY CAN'T YOU JUST FORGET ABOUT IT?" He yelled at her again. The frustration and anger were dripping from his tone.

"Yagiz listen to me." She tried to say again but he didn't let her.

"STOP FUCKING ANNOYING ME DAMN IT! I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU AND DON'T YOU DARE TO CALL ME AGAIN!" He shouted as the line went dead and she broke down, crying loudly.

Now what will she do?

She can't even say this to anyone they might take it in a wrong way because they aren't actually a couple as it's just a namesake marriage.

"I love you my baby. I'll always protect you and give you a better life." She whispered after wiping her tears as her palm caressed her flat stomach.

A Week Later...

The loud thunderstorm occurred. Scaring the shit out of her. She turned and stared at Asiye who was sleeping soundly beside her.

She was weak and pale as her health was getting worse every single day. She wasn't able to eat anytime and all the thoughts were making her more depressed. Crying every night was just a cherry on the top. She has no one to share her feelings, she couldn't share everything with Asiye because she was just 17.

She didn't regret that night, not even a little bit but Yagiz's cold behavior has hurted her way too much. She wanted to talk to him but he?

She glanced at the wall clock which shows 12 at midnight. She was feeling cramps in her stomach from this morning and there were some negative and weird feelings inside her. The whole Atakul mansion was silent as everyone was out of station except her, Asiye and grandma. She already made a plan to go to the doctor in the morning to get herself checked properly.

She got off from the bed and went towards the huge glass window staring out as it was raining heavily with thunderstorm and lightening.

Taking a deep breath she grabbed her phone staring at his picture which made her heartbeat go wild.
