Sebastian pov:

Y/N said to meet her the same place tomorrow, sure why not.

I walk along the path until I hit a familiar tree, I still have a bit of time so I sit down and pull out a cigarette while I wait for her.

Y/N POV:

I put on some nice clothes and walk to the kitchen, after yesterday my family are sleeping in which means I have to be extra quiet because while Sam and Vincent could probably sleep through an earthquake Jodi has been on edge since dad left. One time I closed a cabinet a little too hard in the night and she came out with a bat thinking I was being kidnapped, granted she may have been half asleep but either way I am NOT getting caught sneaking out. 

I grab some crisps for the road and I slowly open the door, it makes a slight popping noise and I scrunch up my face at the sound before slowly walking out and shutting the door as gently as I can. I run off instantly so even if it did wake Jodi up I'd be long gone by the time she got to the door. 

I walk until I smell smoke, ah there he is.

"Wait so you've only ever had 2 friends?" I say "Yeah, or at least those are the people I talk to most. It's kinda refreshing talking to someone else for a change." he says "Yeah, I know how that is. I don't really have any friends either I've just been with my family my whole life." I say "well, I did until my dad left, now we're all busy doing our own things" I sigh "Yeah I feel that, it's the same when my mom married Demetrius" he scoffed, taking another drag of his cigarette "he's always talking about Maru, I don't think I've heard him even acknowledge that I live there except when he's yelling at me to get a real job" I glanced at him "Real job? What do you do?" I asked "I program" he mumbled, coughing a bit from inhaling the smoke wrong (idk how smoking works) "Oh, so you get to work from home?" I smiled "Yeah, if you can call it that" he sighed, looking at the tree in front of us

Jodi POV:

I wake up and go to y/ns room to say good morning, she isn't there- I go over to Vincent's room and he's still sleeping, same with Sam. I go to the front of the house and she isn't there, ok hahah thats kinda weird- I check outside all the way around the house and she isn't anywhere near, where is my daughter

"y/n!" I call out, I get no response. I go into Vincents room and pick him up so I can look for her and make sure he's safe and not home alone, and Sam can handle himself. I walk around for a while until Vincent wakes up "Mom?" he rubs his eyes "Hey man, welcome to the world" I say petting his little head and ruffling his hair "Why are we outside?" he asks "We're looking for your sister, she left in the morning and didn't tell me. Even a note would've been nice. Who knows whats happening to her she could be-" I stop myself before I scare the child "Is y/n in trouble?" He says "No, well- yes, but I'll worry about how to deal with that later. For right now all I'm concerned about is getting her home." I explain, he nods in understanding "Why would she leave us though?" He asks "I'm sure she had a good reason, we're still her family bud." I say "She better have a good reason." I mutter under my breath 

Already Vincent is getting tired, "Mooooom can we go home now?" he whines "Not until we find your sister. She shouldn't be left alone, plus she has to go somewhere in under half an hour and the place is 15 minutes away. We're going to be late." I say "What if she's already there though?" He says "What?" I look down at him "What if on her walk or whatever she decided to get an early start to go to the store?" He actually made sense? "OH- i uh- didn't think of that?" I turn around to go to the store
