-In The Morning-

Curtis got up around 10:30 am, Jerry leaving and not even saying goodbye to him. This hurt more than the hit Jerry had gave him. Curtis shakily got out of bed, going down stairs. He almost stepped on the glass of the vase that was broken last night, but stopped just in time. He bent down and got on his knees, picking up the large pieces before getting a broom for the smaller pieces. He knew that Jerry would blame him if he stepped on a piece of glass. Curtis spent the rest of the morning cleaning the whole house, wanting to make it up for Jerry. He was finally done, flopping on the couch with a tired sigh. Just then, his phone rang, signaling someone was calling him. Fishing his phone out of his pocket, he read the ID. Erik. He answered, greeting Erik.

"Hey, Erik. What's up?" He said, trying to act like everything was fine.

"Hey, I know it's a bit late notice, but would you and Jerry like to come over for lunch?" Erik asked,

Shit, Curtis had been cleaning for almost two hours. Plus, he was starving from having no dinner or breakfast.

"Y-Yeah. That sounds fun. I'll ask Jerry." Curtis said, texting Jerry and asking.

Getting a positive response, he told Erik they would be there.

-At Erik And His Girlfriend's House-

Curtis, jerry, Erik and his girlfriend were sitting around the living room, talking about random things.

"I still remember how we met you." Curtis said to Erik's girlfriend.

Kaley laughed, nodding.

"Yeah, that was pretty awkward." Erik said.

Confused, Jerry asked,

"How did you guys meet?"

"Oh, we were on a walk through the cemetery looking for a victim. We saw her and immediately tried to kill her." Erik said.

"Yep, I'll never forget that the first thing I did was kick her between the legs..." Curtis said, chuckling.

"Yeah" Erik said, laughing. "And then I "fell in love" with wiith her as you say, Curtis."

Kaley was a huge fangirl, which was one of the reasons she always made gay jokes and would always invite Jerry and Curtis over. She was very friendly, and Curtis liked her. Things were going ok and when lunch rolled around, they all helped cook. Curtis and Erik were teasing each other while they were setting the table. That was, until Jerry gave Curtis a warning look, making him stop. Erik, not knowing what was going on, was confused. Curtis usually acted like an ass, but today he seemed... Too polite.

"You know, Curtis, this is your second home. You don't have to be nervous." Erik said.

Curtis shook his head.

"Oh, I-It's not that! It's just..." Curtis didn't know what to say.

If he told Erik, he wouldn't understand! He would say to leave Jerry, but he couldn't! Erik was just too protective, that's all.

"Oh! I see!" Erik said, thinking he got it. "Don't worry, I told Kaley to lay off of telling you two to kiss!"

Erik laughed and shook his head. Kaley was pretty crazy when it came to things like that. She would pester Erik, saying that he and Curtis would be cute together. Erik would say no, that Curtis was dating Jerry, but he couldn't help but silently agree.

"W-What would Curtis think if he knew I liked him?" Erik thought with a blush.

Lunch was ready and everyone sat down. Curtis sat in the middle seat on the left, patting the chair beside him for Jerry. Jerry sat down beside him, slipping his hand with his. Erik and his girlfriend sat on the other side, Erik unable to help but stare at Curtis. He was a very... Beautifully handsome man. That was the only way to explain it. Erik couldn't help but be attracted to his best friend. He pushed these feelings down though, knowing it would be no good to dwell on this. Kaley squealed, laughing and chatting.

"Oh my god, you two are so adorable~!" She said, making Curtis blush and Jerry smile proudly.

Later, Curtis and Jerry left, thanking them and finishing conversations. Curtis hugged Jerry as they walked the short distance to their house. It was awkward, really. Curtis was taller than Jerry, not by too much, but still.

"Shortie." Curtis dared to tease, resting his chin on Jerry's head.

"Shut up, I'm not that much shorter than you. Only a few inches." Jerry said, pulling Curtis back to his side and dominantly putting a hand around his waist.

Curtis sighed, holding a bit of the back of Jerry's shirt, feeling as if he let go, he would be lost.
