CHAEWON POV :

"Do you guys hear that?" Namra asks as she stands up suddenly, then we see a red light only to realise a chopper is coming towards our direction.

Everyone are smiling, a very big hope lifted inside us knowing that we'll be saved.

When the chopper landed near the rooftop, 4 officers gets down from the chopper.

"Are you the only survivors?" One of them who's wearing the black uniform questions.

"We don't know sir, there might be some more" Cheongsan answered.

And then they started checking our temparatures.

Cheongsan pulled me beside him, namra and suhyeok are standing behind us. I was worried that what if they feel doubtful regarding namra's temparature.

"Finally we are going to be saved." Cheongsan says as he happily grins, I nod but don't answer cause I was a bit angry with him.

He does everything needed to make me feel butterflies and yet he doesn't like me back.

How unfair this is!? I sigh

They checked all of our temparatures and provided namra a warm blanket.

"Fine, we'll go check downstairs for a while, be here don't go anywhere else" the officer says

"Aren't you going to save us?" Daesu questions

"We'll save you all, so stay put until we come back. Dong cheol look over them." He orders a younger officer to look over and protect us for time being.

"Dong cheol?" I say a bit loudly. Cause it was the same name of my brother's bestfriend, and he's also like a brother to me.

"Chaewon?" He hesitantly says as he slowly recognises me.

"Yes oppa it's me, chaewon." I say him.

"Thank god, you are alive. Your brother left in a hurry to see you. Did he come to meet you?" He asks me curiously.

I nod trying to suppress my tears.

"Then where's he?" He questions me.

"Lee Jaehyun? where are you?" He questions again thinking that my brother is among my friends.

"Mianhae oppa, I just couldn't protect him" I say tears slowly Falling down my cheeks, whereas cheongsan gently holds my hand more like intervene our fingers.

"Don't be sorry. It wasn't your fault chaewon." He says.

Then we can see the other team members slowly approaching.

They said they can take only one at once, so we all agreed that Jimin would go first.

I see her going up to reach the chopper's level, and before going up she gave us a thankful look.

To be honest, I didn't feel anything she treated namra like shit but at the same time I was patient with her knowing that she lost both her parents.

Hope I can meet my mom soon.

But all the happiness fades away when we see jimin coming down.

I see one of the officer talks on the phone and him being clearly frustrated. He says that he couldn't take us with them since the higher authorities refused.

They start climbing up and that's when I approach them and they start to pull the trigger in front of us, ready to kill all of us.

"Dong cheol oppa please you can't leave us here, we risked our lives to get here. Please I beg you, please save us." I say while I sob harder and hyoryeong and onjo also joins me and ask them to save all of us.
