After his hand went slack, I screamed. After that, I couldn't remember anything.
When I woke up, I was in the infirmary, Katie and Travis standing in front of me. No Connor. I looked at Katie, and cried. She hugged me, and Travis stood there, silently shedding tears.

As I stood in front of my brother's shroud, I thought of all the good times we had. "We have lost many good people. But today, we want to acknowledge one of them. Connor Stoll." I started my speech. "Hi. I'm Travis. Connor's brother. You know us as the troublemakers at camp. Well, we are. At least, we were." I looked at the shroud. "We were one of the best brothers in the world. I... I couldn't ask for a better one." And with that, I started crying. Suddenly, the shroud started shaking. "Who turned off the lights!" I heard a voice inside. "What the-" I ripped the shroud open. And there, was the living, flesh and blood Connor Stoll. Everyone gasped. He jumped out. "Whoa! I was in my shroud?!" He said. I slapped him. "You idiot! We thought you were dead!" I said. "Well, I'm not, aren't I?" He said. "Connor!" I saw Miranda jump off the stage. "Miranda!" They ran at each other.

I ran into his grasp, and he held me up, and twirled me in the air. I kissed him. When we broke off, I slapped him. Hard. He looked at me, stunned. "What was that for?" I put my hands on my hips. "Are you really telling me you don't see why I just slapped you?" He thought about it. "Nope." I sighed. "You died. You came back. You scared me." I said. "I actually don't have a single clue into I came back." He said. Suddenly, there was a bright light, we all saw Aphrodite. "Hello, young demigods." She said. "Lady Aphrodite, what brings you here?" Katie asked. "Well, your wondering how Connor was brought back alive, don't you?" She nodded. "Well," she turned to me and Connor. "You two are in a very stable relationship. I couldn't have it end so quickly! So I begged Hades for about 100000000 times in a minute to bring Connor back, and he finally said yes." She said. "Well, thanks Lord Aphrodite." She nodded. "Don't mention it. I have such a good love life planned for you too." And with that, she disappeared with the smell of roses left behind.

Boom! Did see that coming! You really thought I would kill Connor?
