Connor's P.O.V
As we flew through the air, Miranda's arms wrapped around my waist, I see Travis and Katie flying near us. He looks in my direction, and he nods. I signal him back with a wave. We then split apart, and flew in different directions.
We soon land in front of Coeliac. I help Miranda off. "Your such a gentleman, Connor." I bowed. "Thank you for your kindness." I opened the door for her. She pecked my lips, and walked inside.
Travis' P.O.V
Once we landed, I jumped off. Katie slipped off by herself. I opened the door for her. "Thank you." I nodded. Once we stood there, I looked at the menu. "Next!" We walked to the cashier. "Hello, and what would you like?" She looked very, very familiar. "Um... Can I get a triple layer cheese burger, and a one regular hamburger?" I said. "Oh, and large fries." She pressed the cashing machine. "9 dollars." I handed her a credit card. "Hm... Hermes express card?" She said. For some reason, I was sweating. "Yeah... You have a problem?" She nodded. "You 2 are demigods. And I'm about to have a big feast." She started morphing into some kind of reptile donkey thingy. I read her name card. Kelli. "You!" She laughed. "Me." And she jumped on me. I screamed, and pushed her off. I got out my dagger, and was about to stab her, when she bit my arm. My arm went numb. She then threw me across the room. I crashed into the wall. "Travis!" I could barely hear Katie talking. "I haven't had a boy demigod in a while!" And she jumped. I barely could move, but before anything else happened, she exploded into dust, covering me with monster goo. Behind her, I saw Katie with a sword in her hand. She dropped it. "Travis!" She shook me. I mumbled something that I couldn't even hear, and everything blacked out.
Miranda's P.O.V
I sat down with the napkin in my lap. "Hello, and welcome to Coeliac. What would like?" I looked up from the menu, and saw a girl with a waitress outfit on. "Um, I'll like some clam chowder." I said. "I'll take some pasta." She nodded, and walked away. "Hm.. She seems familiar, don't you think?" I said. "Empousa?" Connor said. I nodded. "And here you go!" She passed out our plates. "Have a nice dinner!" And she walked away again. We ate our dinner in silence.
After an hour of silent dinner, we asked for the check. Connor out his Hermes express credit card in. "Why, I haven't seen this credit card in a while!" She said. "I guess this means it the perfect time to show you who I really am." And she turned into the Empousa we used to now. "Tammi." I took out my knife, and Connor took out a grenade of some kind. She pounced on me. "This will make a lovely feast!" And she bit my arm. I screamed. I kicked her off. She shook her head. "If I can't have you, then I'll just take the boy!" And she grabbed Connor by the leg. "Hey!" He was dangling in the air upside down. She laughed menacingly, and flew off. I had tears in my eyes. "Connor!" I ran out, and got on the pegasus. "Hya!" He flew into the night sky. "Follow that empousa!" I said, my voice breaking.
Short, but I wanted to add a twist. Well, I guess this is going to go into part 4!
